I recently saw a wonderful session drummer- ( and song-writer) Michael Dowd. Drummers can make or break a performance.

The guitarists was looking each other like "we are not playing either, but we can't stop this pretending as long as the dj presses the stop button..."

Love the band's professionalism to adjust and keep going. And the sound engineer pulling the lip sync track out of the speakers to give her a chance to save it, even if he/she was responsible for the mistake to begin with. If something doesn't go as expected or something goes wrong, professionals know they just have to make it happen. Shows never play out perfectly and no one has ever played a perfect show.

Tragically, a young girl was murdered during this performance.
