@@davidt1972 that was my favorite hose by far. I would buy another one but I don't want to pay double the price for it. After I made my video and I assume others made videos on it. The price skyrocketed 👀
@@domgiambanco8819 went to my local pressure washing shop and had them put in the appropriate nozzles for 4GPM machine and I have zero issues. Obviously I'm going to walk slower than I would if I had an 8 Gpm machine so I would advise if you go with a larger unit like this walk a little slower and you should have no issues. I also recommend a post-treatment of about 3% and it'll look as good as new 🤘🏿 thanks for commenting
Yo. I didn't link the hose because it failed my testing and evaluation 😭 I've link the Softwash system in other videos but I'll link it here now. Thanks for commented🤘🏾
It might be a dumb question but do you have to unreel the whole pressure hose before using or can you still have some winded up while pressure washing?
@@LGPressureWashing not a dumb question. I've asked that before myself 🤣 what I like to do is take off the amount that I need because I want full water flow. I always take off at least 100 ft of hose even if I only need 50ft. I do know some washers that keep the hose on the reel. I just don't think it's a good idea because the hose expands under pressure which could be a problem if it is still on the reel 👀. That's actually a great question my guy thanks for commenting 🤘🏾
@@joshuahfields4418 hey bro! I usually end up buying mine at Walmart $5.67 a gallon because I don't live near a bulk supplier 😭 I add the cost into my quote though so It doesn't bother me too much. Yo thanks for commenting 💯
Wow! That could happen for sure depending on what the finish on the gutters was. It's best to always ask about the paint before applying such a hot mix. I assumed they were using at least 6% for the roof while it is not common that it will damage gutters. It definitely will if it sits too long on a hot sunny day without rinsing. Do you know whether they also had a gutter cleaning because gutter cleaning chemicals will definitely destroy the finish if it sits too long?
@@cardinalprosoftwash They did not contract for gutter cleaning. They would up splitting the cost of having the gutters repainted. If it had been my house, I would have made them pay all of the cost for repainting the gutters.
@@rogerhodges7656 yeah me too. It's not hard to find out the proper way to wash without damaging someone's properly but sometimes the only thing a company can see is the pay check. Good thing is most of us carry insurance of at least $1 million to cover any damages so it's not really a big issue but it looks bad on the company. I'm glad they fixed it and hopefully they received a good review for it.
@@wileyisswag3477 absolutely not. It only takes a few minutes to get it full enough to operate once I get to the property 🤘🏾 thank you for commenting and looking out for my safety!
Downstream mix? Needed before and after pictures to share the changes to the home. I would have moved the care. Sure, downstream mix is safe but not a good idea to leave on a car.
Good luck with your business. May I suggest you pay attention to property and plant protection. I tape outlets and cover any boxes that have cables going in and out. SH will destroy ring cameras and key holes. Again best of luck.
Yeah I've gotta start doing that for every project. I've been lucky to not have had any problems thus far but everyone's luck runs out. Thanks for the suggestion 🤘🏾
This machine is only used for soft washing. Treating roofs. pre\post treating driveways. I would use my actual pressure washer for anything the needs actual knock down power. Thanks for commenting
@@cardinalprosoftwash that 5.5gpm @ 100 psi should perform well with 1/2" softwash hose. Hit me up if you have an interest in adding a hose reel in the future.
I am currently waiting on money that is in the mail from a corporation I work for. I am buying the larger valves for a 7gph from Shawn. I just talked to him yesterday. I am really looking forward to getting it.
First item is a pressure hose reel. Typically you spend around $250 this one is $99. I mention Facebook Marketplace multiple times ( cheaper than retail stores) I also mentioned Amazon again much cheaper than retail. The popular softwash hose by flexzilla usually goes for around $250. This one was $99 l. The second hose I mentioned I spent $125 again, the more popular brands go for $250. Most softwash systems that include a proportioning system go for around $2,500 this one was $900. Reminding people to ask around for free equipment sounds like pretty good advice to me but you obviously would rather pay so go right ahead. In just the four items I mentioned above, there is over $2,500 in savings. I may not be helping you out my guy but I have plenty of viewers that have been very thankful. Sorry this video didn't fulfill your needs 🤘🏾
I would love a 1 year update on those penta valves. I have seen so many crack, but it could be that the person over tightened. Looks good, but did it last?
The pent valve, by what I hear, work well but are kinda fragile. Remember the pumps, no matter what brand, make them about a season and need to be replaced or rebuilt. But this setup is very cost-friendly to get our foot in the door.
Excellent question. I started with flyers, door knocking and business cards. Of course I spoke to basically all of my friends and family and asked them to let me wash their houses and their parents houses 🤣
This is the M5 twist so it doesn't have the xjet siphon and uses much less pressure. Also no I am using this with my pressure washer not with the softwash unit 🤘🏾 thank you for commenting
@cardinalprosoftwash Ops, sorry I meant M5 twist, not the X-Jet twist. Oh, you were downstreaming. I thought you were using the softwash unit with the gun🤪...
@cardinalprosoftwash Oh, sorry. I meant M5 twist, not x-jet twist. You were down streaming. I thought you were using the softwash unit with the gun 🤪...
Sure but doesn't everything have a life span? These typically last an entire year for me and at $125 it pays for itself. The very first time a job is completed. I recommend running straight water through it. After every wash you should be good to go 🤘🏾
I am losing my job of 22 years sometime in the next year and I'm trying to figure out what's next.. thinking about pressure washing, but is it seasonal? If so what do you do in the offseason?
Depending on your demographic it is seasonal (weather). I only wash part time because I have a full-time job and I don't wash in the rain or cold. My schedule is typically active between March and November and then I shut down. All that being said, it's up to you. I know people that do winter jobs such as snow plowing, gutter cleaning, window cleaning things like that and stay active year-round. The best part is all of this is up to you because this is your business and you can run it how you want to and make as much money as you want 🤘🏾
It works great this way. Either way works but this is the way I recommend mounting it because if anything goes wrong and it springs a leak it will leak onto the floor rather than down into the motor🤘🏽
