hey man, so I also have this cluster on aem infinity. have you noticed that the speed is a little off by like 3-5mph? Also does your power steering light come on after extended driving over 45mph? Once I brake it shuts off, wondering if I have to wire in a resistor somewhere so that everything gets an accurate readout somewhere.
Before you go crazy trying to fix anything it seems that the eps was controlled by the original cluster. So it's something that they can hopefully fix in an update...
You mention in the early part of the video you change your diff to a lower final drive ratio. What is it and what has been the effect on your shift ranges in lower gears?
the canbus wires are confusing me what do you splice them into? i dont have an s2000 but i had a s2k cluster in my Prelude so i figured i would try this cluster to see if it works and it does but im not getting readings from the ecu im thinking its cause of those two wires but im not sure where to splice seeing as i have a prelude and its not the same. Im running a hondata s300v3
Hey man, thanks for the video. I just installed this for my AP2 and the temperature guage is off for me. The company has not been responsive. Can you let me know how it can be fixed ?
Haha I've recognize and have seen that light up wind deflector on Amazon... How do you like it? Does it actually do any better of a job at reducing wind noise when the top is down?
Definitely will go this route. I have an turbo 06 w/ flashpro but later down the road going infinity with this dash. Dont want gauges. What phone mount is on the modifry bracket?
Do you think you could show a phone speedometer to compare? I was watching your last video and you said you were going to try it out. Great videos btw really helpful.
Your presentation was very informative and well presented. However, it talked me out of considering an upgraded clusters or, at the very least, a ID4Motion cluster. I prefer my old school AP2 cluster.
So far it doesn't seem too bad. I really want to see the video of you driving though. Do the normal lights come on when you use it like the headlights, cruise control, and other dash lights? Instead of using that controller do they offer a Bluetooth option via app/device?
A bluetooth connection would be pretty cool actually. I'll have to message the tech guys to see if they can make a bluetooth dongle work to control the dash. I made another video of me driving but the camera was at a bad angle to observe the tach moving so I'll have to figure something out. Regarding the indicators for the lights and other controls, I've tested the headlights, high beams, blinkers to include the emergency flashers and they all work perfectly. I even got to test the SRS warning light when I powered up the car with the airbag removed and I had to reset the SRS and it all operated like a stock dash. The one caveat was that I didn't test the cruise control.
@@SokhomChhim That's good to hear. I know you have to get they odometer figured out quickly unless you never plan on selling the car then it may not matter as much but you may still want to track your mileage.
