I've already commented this on Q's reupload but i'm pretty sure this is meant to be stock music. I remember listening to quite alot of silly prank songs that sound like this from stock music libraries.

Pathfinder and Sado, are totally ruled out for me. I see nothing similar, in any way. But, the more people that know about the search, the better chance of solving it....Cheers
My guess, is something happened to this band, shortly after they recorded the song/maybe full demo. Like one or more of the band, were in a car accident and died. If the song sounded like an average song, i would not care to much, but the song is so epic, and they sound like one of the best bands of the style..
Just re-listened to SADO. The singer a definitely not the same. But, in a song called The Reckoning, the guitarist does similar harmonics. If it is him he has changed his sound and style. SADO was brought up long time ago, so somebody probably has tried to contact them. They seem to have disappeared.
@@user-yv2xo4tb3w In my opinion, Pathfinder could be the possible band, I can definitely hear the resemblance, while for Sado... Yeah, I agree, but we can't rule them out until they confirm it. A user contacted them and is waiting for the response. Also, yes, this song is not only epic, but it's the best Power Metal song imo lol
Getting sick of all these go-nowhere leads. I feel like all these people making comments on all the pages, are like 5 years old - "its Iron Maiden" - "Its Z"Rose" - "It's Overkill, i know it is". Can imagine how frustrated, the guys that recorded the tapes off the radio must feel.
The worst is that Charles Markward guy, all his comments are hoaxes, he's an insanely dedicated troll. He literally wrote something like 100 comments and they're all false, it's insane.

Found another lead - the band "Sado" from Austin, Texas. The vocalist´s voice is kinda similar and the band is geographically close to where "Z-Rock" radio was located (Dallas, Texas). The only released material they have is a demo from 1987 titled "A Bouquet of Metal" (you can listen to it on RU-vid). I already messaged the vocalist of the band, and currently waiting for a response.
