We stayed in a beach villa in the adults only area and had AI. We had a fantastic time there. Whether AI is worth it for you depends on your drinking habits. Take a look at the menu on the website, you can see the prices and everything that is included in AI. Ice-cream looked good, but we didn´t eat any.
There are many uninhabited reefs surrounding Vilamendhoo all within a kilometer. Can you take one of their kayaks and go explore some of the surrounding reefs?
We did some snorkeling trips scheduled by the resort, but most of the time we snorkeled at the house reef, which is easily accessible through multiple entry and exit points directly from the beach.
