@@RustyRailsProductions ik, the open air cars can be lovely, like in the spring and summer, ridin' along the rails with the smell of smoke, but as it gets into the later year, fall and winter, that vibe from spring and summer is still there, exept that its quite cold, I rode ghost train once and it was a tad chilly,

@@LisbonRailProductionsandF1 the locomotives here at Tweetsie railroad really work hard from the first top they are on a 3.5% grade and head into a grade of almost 6%
The locomotive is a Shay locomotive. One of three types of geared locomotives. the three being Shay heisler and climax All three were primarily used on logging railroads to bring timber off the mountains. Shay’s are built for power and not speed the fastest Shay was clocked at 18 mph that Shay is currently under restoration at the north Carolina transportation museum.
It looks like the new train show happened when you were riding in car 3. I've been waiting to catch that show after I saw your video of it on May 19th. Hopefully it will happen soon for me.
