1/6 sideshow Collectables and Hot Toys reviews with other stuff in-between Join One Sixth Galaxies on facebook at facebook.com/groups/1441135372826065/
@@blasedrotar7383 it sold out on preorders in most places. Sideshow sometimes gets spares to convert waitlists popcultcha Australia did have spares on their website yes
@@clintonlinsley334 If I'm being honest, no.. not really. Something about the body proportions seems wrong to me. The rooted hair turned out nice, I will admit but the sculpted hair, man that seam is so noticeable..
Have mines pre orderd from big bad toy store. Just waiting on the ship email. It’s possible it could ship towards the end of the month. Anyways. I hope they make a dmc 5 lady and Nico. Plus re issue dmc5 Vergil( since the resale market price is insane). Also, looks like they are going to make a dmc1 Dante based on the darkened teaser.
@@alan15ist yeah was lucky enough to get Virgil direct from asmus when he first released and picked up a rerelease of Dante I got Nero cheap but I agree an updated lady would be awesome and I’m all for Nico but she does seem to be an obscure character for them to do. Hopefully BBTS doesn’t take long to get their stock.
@@clintonlinsley334nice! I actually recently snagged a Nero for real cheap via a local pickup. I just saw Trish is ready to ship via sideshow and I’m tempted, but since I already have her pre order with a non refundable down payment. I’ll just wait. Give me possibly more time to save money. Great review!
Cheers! This looks so much better in your video than the photos I’ve seen ! And yes ,when you order from Asmus directly ,they always include extra gifts ,which you don’t get if you order else where . The catalogue is of their current line ,in the case of LOTR for example is what they still have in stock in some capacity . I’ve been tempted by DMC3 ( which I am a fan of ) Dante and Vergil ,but the sculpted hair doesn’t do it for me ,not only do I avoid sculpted in general ,but Asmus sculpted is not great . I’m mostly a LOTR collector and the figures I’ve bought from them , aside of Tauriel ,I truly love . Their Thranduil is my grail . Their Aragorn I never liked enough to buy ,but waiting on InArt to ship … Anyways , I was very curious about Trish because this is their first fully seamless body , I was afraid their do something weird ( rubber that doesn’t match the color of the different body parts ) like they did with Gollum . But this looks quite great on your video ! Better than the photos . Curious to see some posing of it ,now. As for the rooted hair , if you are willing to go for washing with hot water , shampoo, rinse , conditioner ,rinse , towel dry then air dry ,then applying hair cream to style it , you can probably achieve better styling ( or the shorter version of it , conditioner on dry hair ,then hot water washing ,combing ,then gently blow drying a bit ,air drying more , then styling with hair cream or leave in ). For the faces , I don’t know Trish well , again she’s from dmc4 and 5 and I mostly played 3 . So idk how accurate it is . But by the art at least , I think if her hair is styled better ,she’ll look the part . Great video ,gave a better view of the figure ,it’s definitely not as bad as I thought it was , in fact if properly posed and styled could be a great piece !
Nice review! I recently purchased this 2-pack and can't wait to display it on my wall! They're a bit pricey, but they're so worth it for fans. I got mine for $65 Can, tax not included.
Hello. Thanks for this review : very informative. I am tempted to get this figure, but those exposed joints are really taking me out of it. I am thinking of getting it and switching to a seamless Phicen body. How is the clothing in terms of removing it? One some figures, it is easy to undress and put on a different body, whilst on others, it is nearly impossible without destroying the suit. How is this one? Thanks again.
@@clintonlinsley334 100%. I have some empathy in the current climate as as they’d been good till now. I’m not assuming it was malicious but that the owner just found himself behind and in trouble. Still leaves many of us in the lurch and put out, and I’m ignoring the fact that a marketing / sale email went out just before the thing closed down…
hey man unfortunately I was one of the people that had a preorder with them. It's way past the 180 day for paypal to do anything about it as I'm no longer protected. Can I message you on fb in regards to it?
The owner has registered a new business and created an eBay store with the name stock new name also DX Facebook and website has closed and owner has deleted his FB account
They are DF120 Moducases they are available from the store here www.moduspace.sg also if you follow the link in the video description we have Bryan Wong the owner in the group.
I live in regional Queensland unfortunately the neighbours have large trees that attract alot of birds it’s something I can’t help. Also the neighbours are often quite loud so being able to film videos is a matter of luck.
For those interested he are my video game figures ran out of memory when filming the original tour ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vlHejHTuEK0.html
Poor video all the important stuff happening out of camera we like to see the full box..the full packaging as they come...not closeups of stuff separated by seconds and seconds of white screen. Do it again
Should join the EXO group many people there are delusional thinking these figures are the best thing ever the Paris is by far the absolute worst I just wish the paint apps were better more lifelike quality
Omfg stop spamming your BS in the EB games group. You’re literally using it as your own personal blog. Just stop, it’s pathetic. Clearly you crave attention. Create your own page and stop spamming us idiot!
As a Spider-Man fan if you can find him cheaper than retail I'd say he's worth it. Here in Australia the main retailer has discounts for preorders and often has 20% off sales so ordering the figures becomes more worth while. You can also stack reward points with the preorder discount to make things more affordable. If there was no discount there was no way I was owning this guy
