Why do we need huge text blocking the middle of the screen. There's this wonderful thing called close captioning. Or at least put your captions at the bottom of the screen.
Context: STP is a game where this God-Like entity is trapped in a cabin ( according to the narrator ) and can either be slayed or saved. However she changes depending on how YOU perceive her as. If Player views her as a loving individual, in the next loop she will be The Damsel, a being designed and molded to love you. If you believe she is a monster she WILL be one. ( SPOILERS!!!!!! The Damsel route takes a pretty interesting turn into this. Damsel is basically a Waifu. Loving, gentle, but defenseless and EXTREMELY fragile. However if the Player believes she's "too good to be true" or starts viewing her as flat because she has no wants or desires other than leaving the cabin or "wanting you to be happy" [ PROBABLY because she's been trapped since birth and knows nothing about the world] she literally turns into a 2D cardboard cutout, cookie-cutter version of an anime girl drawn by a middle schooler. she turns into a being with no personality or desires because due to her not having a clear idea of what she wants, you believed she wasn't "real". In this scene, it's the beginning of the Damsel route ( chapter 1 ), which does feel out of place, but other than literally biting off her own arm, she's pretty harmless. [ also, im sorry that this comment is so choppy and unorganized, lol but Slay the Princess is a WONDERFULLY written and has incredible moral dillemas, storylines and a ton of existencial sh*t which really makes you think. watch a video about it or play it yourself. Other than the everlasting trauma this game will give you, it's a wonderful experience that alternates between horror, heartwarming moments and humor. ]
i love the fact that the only people in this comment section probably don't know anything about Slay the Princess and are just sitting there like: "... the fuck is this-"
I live in America and it has turned into a clown circus but aside from politics there are still beautiful places to see in nature just avoid New York City, Los Angeles, and the major big cities. I bet your country is beautiful.
Who recognizes who did the voice over? She sounds so familiar. Something makes me feel like who had done Rita Hayworth's voice in Pal Joey for some reason.
Does anyone else recognize the other actress? I do! It's Alice Pearce, the first Gladys Kravitz from the series Bewitched! And she did her own singing!
I noticed that also. I think it is a Video Conversion. They might have done a 4K conversion with an enhancement plug in. The frame rate is the noticeable give away. Hit Pause at any point and there isn't a full "Addressable" Frame. Just an observation. I am old and tired. Could be wrong. Just an educated guess that it is something like that. Sure does' not have a "Film" Look 30FPS.
@@Klovarr It is different. I am indifferent. Maybe like colorization of B&W Movies it may inspire a New Generation to watch. Nice to see Vera Ellen. Thank you for your perspective and presentation. Douglas
