Great combines we ran two 8070's D379unv and D378unv , hardly gave us any trouble on our 1200 acre farm , we had straw choppers fitted to them , only thing that let them down was the lights I see this combine has extra lights on the cab .
At least set the pickup height correctly? The wheel should be in constant contact with the ground. I'd have our old horseman with his hayrake working the field to row up the 30% you are missing! :-)

good! What a beautiful video. Beautiful this New Holland Clayson 8070 !!! Congratulations!
I wish farming would go back to how it was in the 70s /80s sigh....Well done you for keeping the old equipment alive and working. Where is this filmed?
As an ex ploughman i'd like to congratulate you on your skill in setting up the plough and field work, well set discs and skimmers, matches up well and looks level. Well done mate.
These machines take me back to 80s summer holidays, farm we lived on ran two 8080s alongside two JDs, the neighbours also ran an 8080 and the farm up the hill an 8060. Incredible to think these were “large capacity” machines back in the day. Thanks for posting.
Very interesting. Seems quite simplistic and straightforward as far as its operations are concerned. Would you happen to know what or who would make a similar functioning piece of baling equipment today?

how do you get on with getting parts for your 268 there seems to be very little left available for this style and i struggle most large things needed I've had to make from scratch just wondered if you've had better luck from me for example the aluminium packer tines Nla from CNH my full time job is working in the parts department of one of the 19 branches of Ernest doe and sons the largest cnh dealership in Europe but even i struggle getting the bits for it
I was on one of these machines sorting for my neighbour. We harvested the head and the foot of the field with a spinner digger and filled tonne boxes so the tractor and harvester could get turned. The tractor they used to power the harvester was a massey 390 4wd with a side elevator and forks and box on the front. Good reliable wee harvester. great vid thanks fo sharing!
