Wow, had no idea that doctors have no training in additions. I often thought I could help someone by showing them what nature has to offer combined with exercise. At any rate, hope you get on Bill's show and spread the word. 👍
Thanks for your feedback. Medical education curricula is changing, thankfully. Just being there for someone struggling with addiction is HUGE; your support will help feel cared for :)
Nice presentation and clarity. I would be happy if you answer and point me towards some material on the following: What happens to cancers that have originated in another site and has metastasized to the lung. Assuming that the primary tumour is actually removed and only the lung metastasis remains, can you treat this metastatsic cancer like a lung cancer ?
Great q'n. Once a cancer reaches Stage IV (i.e. metastasis), it is very, very difficult to treat, let alone cure. ~12 different cancers including breast, colon, bladder and others, spread to the lung. Each has its own treatment regimen
Great question. Certainly many similarities. Both are chronic, neurodegenerative diseases. No cure but various treatments are available for both. Learn more at NINDS www.ninds.nih.gov/
Great career! Complete a residency training program in psychiatry (child / adolescent / adult) then apply for an addiction fellowship. You can also apply for an addiction medicine fellowship :)
‘‘I am not only happy am alive but also glad that "DrMadida" was able treat and cure me with his herbal medication of my parosmia, Meniere disease and Parkinson disease 🦠 (PD) with their herbal treatment. My smile is so bright because I am happy 😊😊😊😊…’’
My partner was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 66.. His symptoms included excruciating calf pain, muscular aches, tremors, slurred speech, frequent falls, loss of balance, and trouble standing up from a seated posture. After six months on Senemet, Siferol was given to him in place of the Senemet. It was also at this period that he was diagnosed with dementia. He began seeing hallucinations and became detached from reality. With the doctor's approval, we stopped giving him Siferol and chose to try the Natural Herbs Center PD-5 protocol, which we had already looked into. After three months of therapy, he has made significant progress. The illness has been completely contained. There are no symptoms of persistent twitching, weakness, tremors, hallucinations, or muscle soreness. The PD-5 Protocol was obtained from naturalherbscentre Though you still need to determine what works best for you, I thought I would share my husband's story in case it could be helpful. Greetings and prayers
I think Parkinson’s disease should be taken more serious more research more effort to prescribe a place for patients to exercise diet a Parkinson’s physality to help and encourage patients to slow down progression with physical therapy.
I am a Scottish author who was diagnosed with Parkinson's four years ago. My next book, a charity book for PD, is about Parkinson's stories and I'd love an entry from the USA. This is what I am looking for. INTRODUCTION This book gathers stories from the Parkinson's community. With more than 40 symptoms, no two Parkinson’s sufferers seem the same. I decided to make this book a useful expression of Parkinsonian experiences. I have asked these questions to people with Parkinson’s Disease: What did you do before you got PD? Recall the moment you were diagnosed. Were you working at the time and, if so, did your work put in place any adjustments? How are you coping now? What can you still do? What can't you do now? Please finish your narrative (3 or 4 pages) with a section entitled CURIOUS FACTS about yourself or your experiences. Please send them to me at netherholm6@yahoo.com and the book will emerge. Thank you to all who contribute. I can send you the four chapters | have already if you contact me. Thank you.
Aside from the mild speech and walking, I haven't had natural BMs since January. I have been turned away by three doctors. I'm presently able to purge myself with two liters of water over several hours followed by a bottle of Magnesium Citrate. It takes a couple of hours for it to work for me, with several trips to the bathroom. I do this every third day.
Greetings Dr. L. Great show (as always) These are pretty accurate (and grim) statistics. As a proud recipient of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). It really does work. Recovery (IMHO) is a trial and error business with what can turn out to be a lifetime of failed efforts. However, through all those 'False starts' you are picking up information. One day all of the pieces in this extremely complex puzzle will fit. I finally figured out that my aftercare had to be pretty intense (and it still is...). The medication really is important. I take a mild antidepressant that smooths out those cravings that pop up out of nowhere. I could go on, but...I must say that your joke was nothing to sneeze at...😂😂😂Take care, Peter.
Thank you for your feedback as always, Peter, and for sharing your story. Congratulations on your long-term recovery. You are 100% right in that everyone's recovery journey is unique. Stops and starts are common. Do what works for you. As a society, we need to reduce stigma/prejudice and increase compassion and the use of evidence-based treatments :)
Thank you for your feedback! Great idea -- did you mean latest medical research findings? Or greatest medical discoveries in history? Or something else?
Medical research findings and perhaps new AI medical technologies as well. Always fascinated by new devices. I would assume that some clinicians could make better decisions with AI... findings, drugs. etc. Thank you. We all want the latest fountain of youth. 😀
Some wolves in sheep’s clothing are conscious of what they do and others don’t understand how evil they are. They come as angels of light but they are blood sucking vampires. Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy.
My so-called PD has been with me over 20 years, mostly without treatment or tests. Deficency of Vitamin B-12 mimics PD symptoms. But not a single doctor tested my B-12 levels. I rarely see a doctor now, due to their lack of hearing me.

Excellent awareness of some troubling issues in Healthcare. Always thought of saving banks in life; one for money and the other to invest (workouts) in one's own health. Yes, starving out large corporate insurers sounds good, but not certain that's the Achilles heel. Lots of complexities. Also, I never realized how doctors were impeded from navigating the very best patient outcomes until now. Kind of scary, we're all going to face health issues. Like the idea of volunteering to help someone. All the best to you. 😊
Appreciate your feedback. Many problems in the current U.S. healthcare system. Too many special interests, focused on products and profits but not people
Hey Dr Roy, saw you on StarTalk and decided to follow you here. I personally think human health is as wondrous and bound with new frontiers as the galaxy itself ! Look forward to your channel and content!
