Welcome to the channel! I started this channel with some edited older videos from recent trips but I am working on taking this to some great places. Lets go!!!
Great shots. Been to Latvia few years back - nice place I like the shooting AK47 theme with Eagles playing in the background lol Keep travelling - Like & Subscribe 💙💙💙
Western Europe, out of habit, says that Poland is Eastern Europe from the "Iron Curtain" period, but Poland is certainly not culturally part of Eastern Europe - culturally, Eastern Europe is rather Russia, but not Poland.@@unplannedwonder
@@jerzy7118 Very true, also when I grew up at least there was no such thing as Central Europe it was only East or West which is why I think at least in the UK that is also why many of us think that way as geographically it is what we were brought up on. It is very interesting though finding these cultural differences and how the world interacts with itself.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I believe the one I show is just the city market although they have several, including a food and farmers market as well. That one i show is close to Skanderbeg Square.
Those savory rice pies are called karjalanpiirakka. There are other ones with potato filling. They are best with egg butter, called munavoi, as a topping. BTW, that white Silja line ferry goes to Stockholm, not Estonia.
I didn't want to attempt to say it in the video as I new I would get it wrong lol, not sure how I missed putting the name in the edit so thank you. I tried a few but I have never had the one with egg butter, I will have to check that one out! Aaah ok, I knew there are ones going over to Estonia and I think someone had suggested that one. I am better on planes than boats so I didn't realise, but good to know thank you.
There seem to be specific areas the cats congregate at night and mornings seemingly for food. They are also treated really well etc. locally. At least in the more affluent area.
Great to join you on this adventure! Love my little cameo at 4:37 haha. I love how you are keeping quiet about your destination too. I didn't try Pret when I was at Stanstead, but it's a good idea for next time! Also the Fudge was incredible 😉
Great video thank you. Just wondering when you were there please, as I’m going to be exploring there too, later this year in early October and can’t wait! Cheers from Australia
Hey, so glad you enjoyed the video. I was there earlier in the year. The weather was far nicer than you'd imagine even in the 'colder' months. I actually met some Aussies when I was there as well, I would recommend the hostel from the video as well for a chilled stay!
