Honestly the lyrics version is fine, people say its weird because the made up language sounds weird or bad but honestly its a whole new world, i think it adds a great layer of immersion that once you play Genshin You *know* you're in another world, trapped without your powers after a spell that was cast upon you has sealed your original powers as you set your big main goal, and that is to find your sibling.
Why do people makeup fake languages in music especially? Because of mystery. I feel sorry for people who learn multiple languages, they lose that nostalgia and mystery ☝️

Dude, look at the date of this video, the comments, and the description please. It's already known its the Chasm. Also this song was removed during other beta versions of Genshin and later added to The Chasm instead of Raiden Shogun's Boss theme.
I had no idea this existed. I like the final version more for what it’s used for (actually one of my favorite songs in the entire soundtrack) but I have to wonder why they didn’t use this during the first “boss fight” against Ei that you can’t actually win. The complete silence did help set a mood at first but you’re left fighting her for a fairly long time before the game stops you from what I remember.
Because this was never intended for the battle against Narukami no Mikoto. It just got into the beta by mistake or as a test. The instrumentation is clearly more in line with music of the Chasm and doesn't sound anything like what Inazuma music sounds like, but because people first discovered this track in 2.5 beta they refuse to rub two braincells together and think that the developers actually intended this track to go with that boss battle.

Millelith's watch is the album, CD3, if I'm not mistaken, the finalized version is called Tremor of Menace (or maybe that's the version with Chinese instruments on top) Edit: yes, this is Tremor of Menace. There's also Irresistible Force, the version with Chinese instruments on top that was used for some events mostly
Those little piano bits at the very beginning are nice, in fact if most of the chasm's battle themes are KH2 sounding, this would be more like Hallow Bastion from KH1.
Ohhhh this one was it from that leak! I was forgetting that something felt different from what we heard and saw from leak. This theme doesn't really fit Raiden its very much western. I wish this ost can be used in may be traveler archon quest or another trounce domain boss fight of may be a fatui.
I’ll admit that it’s good. But that doesn’t mean it’s not lazy. Of course it’s easier to come up with a generic “edgy” rock remix than to compose an entirely new theme but it seems you’re not ready for this conversation just yet🤷
I hope that this doesn't play for all phases. It would be rather bland and repetitive then it already is. Honestly not sure why they just recycled the same theme again.
Probably not. Since he is part of the fatui. So his theme would be fatui themed. My best prediction is it will be used for some type of revelation in which we fight someone of great importance. (Has some Against all odds OST vibes. )
People really got pissed off at the new quest. But they don't understand the meaning behind it. This is how mihoyo writes their stories. Even Honkai players keep saying the story always starts that way. Pieces with little help to connect them. They did warn us though that their is a chance that someone next will be killed off.
I kind of wish they would have at least improved and used the music we hear in the beta leak at lest for a specific phase of the fight or something. Is it really just gonna be one song for the whole fight?
Honestly, not sure, they could change stuff as last minute but who knows, they could add another Phase song if they wanted to or might have already done so.
I really like the inazuma remixes but I am still very disappointed. They had like 3 different raiden themes that never played in the game and decided to just remix the old one. But the theme they used for her trailer sounds nothing like this one so maybe there is hope that she has 2 themes in game instead of just a remix.
@@kokomi3623 by that logic it makes no sense for andruis and azhdaha to have a phase 2 theme because we are just fighting them again. But it does make sense for them to use a remix since she can switch from phase 2 to phase 1 during the fight so it would be weird to have a completely different song, but I still would have preferred a new theme or a phase 2 theme that wasn't just a remix it felt kind of lazy.

Sadly, they seem to have scrapped this and replaced it with the "newer" Inazuma remix (which I uploaded in another video if you want to check out) I posted this video cause I don't think anyone else would be able to hear it in its entirety except for me and maybe some others. Wanted to share cause it seemed pretty good, but it still seems to sound unfinished. No clue if they were able to improve this music further.

Yeah, its left somewhat unfinished, not sure if they were able to improve on this or not but sad that this entire thing was scrapped :/ It was pretty good!
