Vessel is still my favorite, and yet I love Clancy! Been a fan for a few years and they are my favorite. Personally oldies station is my favorite on Clancy
Obsessed with Clancy!! Favorite songs are Navigating, Oldies Station, Next Semester, The Craving, and Routines in the Night (in no particular order). I’d say Regional at Best is probably my favorite album but since it’s considered a “dead album” I’ll say either Vessel or Clancy is my favorite as they both have most of my favorite songs/storylines! I’m so excited to be seeing them in a few weeks in NJ! :D
Thanks for sharing your favorites - love the selections. Vessel is so so special and my first introduction to them after seeing them perform it in 2013. Have a blast in NJ! ✌🏼
Also I suppose a hot take: I really enjoy Scaled and Icy. The album is definitely more pop inspired than the others but for the sake of the story of this being a “propaganda” album, I think it’s amazing! Especially when you start to break away from the happier vibes with songs like “No Chances”, “Redecorate”, and “Never Take It”. The story behind it makes some of the music make sense especially when looking into the lyrics hiding in some otherwise really upbeat songs like “Bounce Man” and “Good Day”.
I'm terribly slow to accept new music from artists I like. I don't know why. So at this point I've only incorporated 4 songs from Scaled and Icy into my rotation and haven't really made it to Clancy yet, though I occasionally will listen to Overcompensate and Navigating.
@@LizBitti they’re all good, but their first 3 are the classic albums imo. Self titled and armistice are similar sounding. Odd soul is jazzier. Vitals and play dead are more electronic. If you like Paul’s production you’ll probably enjoy all of the albums.
Vignette, Snap Back, At the Risk of Feeling Dumb, and Oldies Station are my favorites; with Oldies Station being #1. It is a direct reflection of the stage of life I find myself in at the moment. Making oaths and making mistakes; but never giving up until I get to where I need to be. It has been such a great catalyst for growth for me. Keep pushin’ on through😎🫶
I’ll preface by saying I’ve never been a huge fan but I absolutely fell in love with Trench when it came out. When Scaled and Icy came out I didn’t really connect with it but when I heard Overcompensate I got really excited for Clancy. I didn’t vibe with it at first but then it clicked and it has become one of my favorite albums. At the Risk of Feeling Dumb is definitely my favorite but all are great jams in my opinion
Absolutely love At The Risk of Feeling Dumb. And I had a similar feeling about Scaled and Icy - I enjoyed it but it doesn’t hit me to the core like Trench and now Clancy do. Although I did love their live stream performance of that album. The set and production was so impressive. Thank you so much for sharing!
Much as I hate to agree with kaiser on anything, they are right here. If your account was hacked, if you have an abusive family member who would change settings without your permission, if someone has memory issues or hallucinations, etc, then they NEED to be aware of the change. One letter could be intercepted, lost, forgotten, etc, but three? That'll get through.
thank you for posting this, we're currently experiencing 114 degree temperatures out here in Vegas, but this video has inspired me to go walk for a couple hours in the desert heat, with no water, to pick up a 20 piece from mickey dee's, wish me luck!
