This is the weakest draft class in recent history. Dalton Knetch is probably the best rookie prospect, but he is stuck playing behind Austin Reeves. Stephon Castle, Zach Eddie, Alex Sarr and Zaccharie Risacher are good too. Reed Sheppard hasn't done well thus far, in the regular season.

Appreciate the feedback, I tend to agree but like you said it could be a lot of games where one of the 3 doesn’t play.. to me this east is tough and for once in my life I’m worried about the regular season 😂😂
I'm a Raptors fan. Raptors probably shouldn't have won that game the other night even despite Maxey's struggles. Nick Nurse is probably a top 5 coach given the right roster. I saw it myself for a few years. Maybe Embiid stays healthy during the Playoffs this season and the resting ends up helping in the end, because in that case it doesn't matter if he sits as much now.
Totally agree with everything you said, only worry is how many games we win in the regular season. You don’t necessarily wanna be fighting out of the playin tournament in this eastern conference, but hopefully it won’t come to that! Appreciate the feedback and insight, I’m a HUGE fan of Coach Nurse, he’s completely changed the culture of this team and I agree he’s top tier. Doesn’t get enough respect tbh 🙏🏻
@@DeHave I don't think it'll come to that for Philly. The Sixers can easily be anywhere from a 3-6 seed in the East. If I was a Sixers fan I'd hope your front office doesn't overreact and fire NN if Embiid/George aren't healthy again and place the blame on him even if it isn't 100% his fault
I doubt they would. Daryl Morey and Nick go way back and it seems like the organization is 100% behind him. Remember, this is the team that could’ve easily fire doc rivers 2 years before they did lol Brett brown as well.
De haven good commentary, good analysis. In my opinion on the 76ers, they came out early and Joel Embiid made the comment he won’t play back to back. So what do the fans supposed to think about that what the NBA commission think about that? if I’m the owner of the 76ers, why should I pay you for every game but you sit out and you’re not hurt? PG has a legitimate injury. Nothing is wrong with Joel Embiid besides being lazy. Talking about ramping up, he played in the Olympics for crying out loud. He can’t play for his own team. As the seasons already started, they’re 0-2 in the win loss column. As a Laker fan I’m watching the see how JJ Reddick is going to do. At least disposal like him. They didn’t like Darvin ham, even though it’s not a coaches job to be like. But in the NBA stars run the team and they hire you and then all of a sudden they dislike you you’re gone. He made a couple bad decisions in games. That didn’t satisfy LeBron. But now JJ is actually starting off prioritizing Anthony Davis, which makes sense. He’s the best defensive player and the best offensive player that’s under the age of 35. If he can stay healthy, which is a trial for all players, he should have an MVP season. That’s what I hope. Keep up the good work Mr. DeHave.
Simmon’s will never be close to a Dame or Roy. Scoot’s always in the negative and Sharpe has missed more games than he’s played. We might see 25 wins this year.
I totally stopped watching after you put the Lakers over the Suns 😂. The Lakers 3pt game is gonna be absolute trash just like last year. What are you talking about? Im watching there opener now and nothing has changed...its a 2pt fest all day
I mean it’s half of one regular season game? Also 4 of their starting 5 shoot the 3 really well, not sure what the issue is? Also if we’re gonna use half of a regular season game as proof of anything, they’ve been up at least ten for most of this game on the team that swept the suns last year lol
I'm sorry did I miss something?? Where is Jordan Poole and why isn't he in the top 10??? All jokes aside this list is dogshit every year, the whole concept is dumb. It should be a top 100 coming into the season with a little "i think this guy will be better/ be declining", and not a prediction of the end of the season. Also my biggest issue (mind you I'm biased) besides Butler being at 28, is bam not being top 15. I know it's only a few spots but he's the best defender in the league(argue with a wall about that) and can give you 20/10/4.5 a night. Should end up with more assists if they run the offense thru him more like they use to.
Rockets are a clear #1 their bench could compete with some of these bottom feeding teams. I'd put wolves at 2. Having 2 versatile 6th man candidates on the bench is invaluable
I agree with you in a perfect world where injuries are turned off, Embiid is a top three player in the league. Number 8 is too low even with their criteria. But I just don’t understand how you can say Tatum should be lower, but not SGA. SGA has had a couple of great back to back regular seasons, but playoffs matter too. My top six taking into account the regular season, playoffs, and game availability would be (in order): Jokic, Giannis, Luka, Tatum, Embiid, and Shai.
Great feedback, I mean I hear you on SGA, but i don’t know if it’s all on him in the postseason, I think the Thunder were just too young last season and played the hottest team in the league with a top 3 player in the world. But I get your point, it’s reasonable, thanks for the comment 🙏🏻

I can’t stand the bucks disrespect. Especially giannis and dame. Give the most dominant player in the world the 2nd best shooter in nba history, and one of the best scorers of this era in dame who still has one, maybe two years left of his prime, they will just be unstoppable this season. I don’t want anybody who was not riding the bucks to jump on once they see how good giannis & dame can really be.
Cmon man the Celtics aren’t a whole tier above anyone else. They are the best but a whole tier is disrespectful to the Knicks, Bucks, and 76ers. There is a little bit of glaze with that one 😂
😂😂😂 What have the Thunder, 76rs, Magic, Kings, and Suns, "proven" It's always the Grizzlies that have to "prove it" never go off of realistic projections with the Grizzlies
As a blazer fan, Billups is the worst coach in the league. HOWEVER, 1. All of our best players, we kept. 2. We added Avdija and Clingan 3. Simons, Grant, Ayton, Robert Williams, and Sharpe missed about 200 games combined last year!! 4. Our rookies from last year (Scoot, Camara, etc.) will be 2nd year players I would bet my life that Portland wins more games than the "Detroit Pistons." lmao and wouldn't be surprised if they're 10th seed or better. Anyways I agree w most of your list regardless lol
Of course no one can say how Lonzo will be this year but judging from the way he didn’t hold back and looked comfortable and confident then I think he can make a substantial impact on the league. But of course everything is hedging on his ability to stay on the court. This is probably his last chance because no one will likely to ever trust him again if he suffers another major setback. That is the harsh reality of the sport. I wish him nothing but the best.
Same with his brother who is one I will also be following closely this year. That is if I have the time because this year will be crazy. There is so much interest it seems. Or maybe it’s just me because I never went deep into the league (and into basketball in general) before this year. So my approach this year is different. But it is very time consuming and I like most people have other things I want and need to do. So I don’t know how it will be. I don’t know how I will react. Does that sound strange?
Excuse me but... WTF!? Spencer Dinwiddie!!?? LOL I don't think you understand the first thing about what Spence is going to be asked to do with this team. #7 is dawg nuts!! Are you actually thinking the Mavs expect Spence to score 17 PPG like before!? WOW!! Just goes to show how little some people know about basketball...
You just ranked Houston starting unit as the 10th best in the West and their bench as the 1st, but the team is 11th? Doesn't add up. Do you mean having the best bench in the conference will hurt the starters' performance, or do you just can't let those geriatric teams that have already been at the end of play-in ranking last year go?
@@DeHave Tell that to last week's DeHave. He ranked Houston above Warriors, Clips, and Spurs. Three teams that have multiple HoFs in their starting lineups.
@@DeHaveI am talking about the starting lineups and bench rankings videos from last week, where Houston was 10th and 1st respectively. I believe the tier list video was a month ago? Houston was 12th there, but that's ancient history in internet time.
I was talking about this tier list video, only reason I ask is because I’m not sure if you’re saying the rockets are playoff caliber based on the staring 5 and bench rankings I did (I have them in Playin Caliber, top of playin caliber.)… and your criticism was that I had them 11th overall, just trying to clarify!
