I strongly agree with your position, implied but not necessarily mentioned here, that Astrology is like the stage and story we are going to engage with in life. We bring our conscious being to each moment. Astrology says that the moments are fated, but our response to them is not. Our reaction and response to them is a function of the conscious development (or intelligence - cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual) that we bring to our conjunction with it. Thank you for your highlighting this all important distinction.
Dear Steven, can you please talk about the phenomenon of double- and triple- signs / energies? For example, being a double Aries or being triple Earth. Aside from the obvious -- energy being concentrated around a particular sign or element -- what are some other attributes of the natives with such natal makeup? Thank you in advance!

I'd add also that if you live in a place where natal and locational astrology influence involves lunar nodes you might be meeting people with nodal connection in synastry much more often. I have North Node in the 2nd house natally, in the 7th in relocation and I see it so often with clients, friendships, love relationships etc. It can be quite intense though. Would prefer to love to a place where nodes are not in angled houses yet it is what it is. Can also be hard to resolve the karma if the other person is less emotionally intelligent or prefers not to dive deeper beyond some mixed feelings. When it does happen it can be empowering and beneficial, even healing for both sides (no matter what type of relationship). My situation is somewhat complex because I have South Node in the 8th house conjunct Chiron and Mars squaring it (Mercury as well). Still decyphering the meaning of that.
2 people meeting in a bar sounds like a situation which happened in my life 5 years ago. My Saturn and South Node were conjunct his Ascendant. My North Node is trine his South Node and his Sun which is the planet which has rulership over his South Node.
