I know this video is old, but for anyone curious, my old scion used to do this a lot when shutting the engine off. excess air escaping, i had a short ram intake and it would do that. not all the time but a good amount of the time it did.
It's not that big of a deal as long as you have brake pressure. Just means if the engine stalls while in motion, you'll have to press the brakes much harder or use the hand brake.
So after a few trucks and a few cold air intakes and since I'm still getting comments on this I thought I'd mention that yeah this is normal for cold air intake. I have a 5th gen dodge now with cold air intake and makes the exact same noise
I was told by my aftermarket CAI seller that I should change my spark plugs because I don’t hear the whistling noise you usually hear with a CAI. I installed it a couple hours ago, I rev my engine and I just don’t hear what other people get when installing a CAI
Psydrre I contacted k&n and sent them the video. They said it's normal. Also this video was my 5.4 liter 2010 f150, I have a 2014 5.0 liter F-150 that does the exact same thing with the cold air intake! Guess it's just the cold air intake!
Val Ozuna Still sound weird though. But if they say it is normal I guess it is. Not to pry or anything but you haven't noticed any difference in performance over time have you?
I jus put in a cold air intake (random one off of Amazon for like 50 bucks) and put it on acura tl sounded fine when I started car n then I shut it off n made that noise I was like wtf was that n I've been searching utube for like 10 mins making sure that was supposed to happen lmaoooo
Chihuahuas, by definition, are diminutive genetic freaks. They are the ultimate welfare breed; endlessly needy and eternally helpless. Given that you're aware that it has epileptic seizures why are you continuing to let it suffer? This is not going to improve. The seizures will only get worse. Are you so heartless and selfish that you'd let the dog suffer so that you can keep your "living toy". So sad, so tragic.
magiscichoam really? I love my dog. We've had her for 9 years. They have not gotten worse. She has maybe 2 or 3 a year depending on how much stress she's in. We had another dog and had to get rid of it because it caused her more stress! If she had them regularly then yes I would put her out of her misery but as I said 2 or 3 a year maybe. Last year she only had one! Again I love my dog!
Seizures only last a couple minutes, the dog can enjoy the rest of their day with complete happiness. Like Val said, if they had frequent seizures a day, then possibly it would be best to put it down.
I caught a bull red off pensacola pier today, it was long, but not fat. It was around 30-40 inches, I had it on for about 5 minutes but eventually snapped my 20 lb line. I was gutted. I had been stalking a school of them for about 20 minutes and eventually got one to take my lure. Even if it didn't snap my line I wouldn't have been able to get it on the pier because I don't have a pier net.
