My name is Olin and I love music! But most of all, I love talking about and sharing music with others. This channel is dedicated to sharing the various bands, musicians, and their albums that I am currently listening to. My hope is that my videos will help you discover something new and interesting that you'll end up loving! Thanks for watching.
LEGAL STUFF: All the music that is used in my videos were legally purchased by me and were taken from the CD or digital album. I do not claim any of the music as my own nor do I wish to generate a profit by using such music without permission from the owner.
Hi Olin. I discovered your channel about 10 days ago and I've been watching almost all your videos since then. I make note of the bands that you have introduced me to. I went to a record fair yesterday but was disappointed that I found no experimental or ambient music there. So I went to my local record store and found a CD put out by Kranky, a label which you have recommended. I suggest you listen to Kathleen Yearwood and Iva Bittova. I've been listening to both since the late 80s and seen both live at folk fests here in Canada. Looking forward to more videos.
Sorry be the latest person to only see your most popular vid so far haha. I love CD collection videos. I started collecting CDs recently and started out getting all the ones I had when I was a kid like original Slipknot. Its so rewarding to not have to pay 35$ for a single album and to sometimes find them for 5$
You mentioned Jeff’s solo album.made me realize,I think I’m really more a fan of Jeff, just playing an acoustic guitar ,and singing all his songs that way.thats what I usually go to.think Jeff and Scott avett are the best writers the last 25 years
I love people have such different taste.i see a comment above saying summerteeth is the best ever made.i think sky blue sky is one of my favorite albums of Wilco.good stuff,I love Wilco.
I’ve been after that Caretaker album for ages, tried to get it when it was reissued in 2019 but it was snapped up. Now über expensive, especially in the UK.
I have a "Deep Purple - Live In Japan" 3-cd set which is an import from Holland. It includes a concert in Tokyo, Japan and two shows from Osaka, Japan. The cd's are mint. Ebay recently sold one for $130.00.
Like an original print of the first My Chemical Romance album i had as a kid got me into heavier type of music very special album for me is shockingly expensive for a non bootleg copy been after a legit og pressing but alas escapes me😢
Grouper... makes me think of another band with a fishy name, Red Snapper. And if you don't have any Red Snapper for the platter, your diet is incomplete😛
i have way too many rare and valuable cds to list, that actually sell quickly and are wanted.. my advice is if someone is willing to pay you what you want them they’d be gone if up to me.. things like that get reissued etc..
I've been collecting CDs from the Fax label since the early 90s...just look at prices for some of those like Organic Cloud, Ambiant Otaku, Hearts Of Space, I.F., etc.
Chat Pile is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Where were you able to get those EPs on one cd? Edit#1: Found cd on eBay, sold from Import CDs. If anyone else interested are still three copies to be had.
I just discovered your channel and would love to watch, but the constant barrage of edits is a deal breaker. Must every millisecond of silence be removed? I'm seeing this more and more. It's far too distracting.
How about some early cds by super famous artists that are rare. Examples Ratt s/t 1983 or Jouney In the Beginning ( not remaster) ...Abraxas Pool is another htf cd
