The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network is a safety net organization that provides a full array of services and supports to adults with mental illness, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children with serious emotional disturbances and people with substance use disorders. By serving nearly 75,000 citizens in Detroit and Wayne County, empowerment is provided to persons within our behavioral health system.
Toured this facility and the staff and personnel were exemplary. They have thought of everything with this facility and strive to find more resources to help those in need. I observed a intake training session and was impressed by the direct, clear precision in which the staff operated, yet always being sensitive to the needs of the incoming client.
