@@adventuristai One more question. Where did you fit the temprature sensors? You added extra or connected somewhere? I have Trailtech Voyager Pro and want to connect an M6 bolt sensor to coolant exiting the engine.
Even though the video was not in English and didn’t have subtitles, it was still a very helpful video! Thank you for helping me make up mind about which Kriega bag to buy 🙏🏽
Hi ☺... can I ask you, when you fitted your Scott damper, did you have to trim the shroud for your ignition; or did you fit an aftermarket shroud instead (I can't quite see on your video!) Thanks, Steve A 👍🏼
Many thanks. Very useful for me. I have a 701 in pretty standard form. I see that you didn’t have bar risers. I’m only 173cm in height but I find the foot pegs too high and the bars too low for longer periods of standing. Also did you do any remapping? I have installed a fuel dongle which has improved the low speed fuelling but by no means a cure. Things I can live with on an otherwise great bike. Coming from GSA/ATAS/890 most recently the light weight and skinny profile are such a revelation.
This is what it’s all about. Love the camera work mate. Well done! 🔥 I could recommend getting a firebox stove. That is really great if you just want a quick good fire without leaving a trace 🤩 Great coffee setup as well. And whipped cream! Damn mate!!! 🤌🏻
Hi Andrus, what brand / model is the luggage tie points near your footpegs ? building up my wish list (too long to wait for the KTM 790R to be shipped back 🙂
it's Kriega also. Same as my luggage. I have different size kriega bags. 3x18L, 2x12L, 1x6L.So I can switch depending on the trip :) Yeah... It will take a long time for bike to return home :)
That was great ... we met recently at Outduro (Latvia). I am the Australian guy who travelled overland from Australia to Europe via Asia. My next bike will be a 701 ❤
Hey @sritter! It was a pleasure to meet you and to hear your really extreme adventures in Afghanistan :) I hope one day I will be in Australia and we will have some adventures there :) And yes, I really like 701. After 17000 km no issues at all.
@@adventuristai I ride hard enduro, with these Cycra which has HCM mount you can take down trees and it won't move even a millimeter. Basically can forget about ever adjusting or bending them. Best upgrade ever. Clake the next best upgrade ever - effortless magical clutch pull, can use it whole day and forget about tired clutch hand. The only downside is one carbon part it has, I managed to destroy it in 2 weeks with my terror, but replaced it with a custom made metal one and zero issues since then. Both are not cheap, but I see you already paid 1200 eur for Garmin, so what is 600 more eur? :) btw, you dont have a twitchy front feeling in some ruts or on descents? If you do, try to move handlebars closer to you, they look to me way to much in forward position.
Killer bike Andrus! Great i fo on the seat company as well, didn't knew about them. 👌 As for the bashplate, idid freat withbthe small and very low friction original on my 690. Did a lot better than what it look. Cheers!
