It stops the flow of gasoline automatic. not only will gas flow into the cylinders, it will also flow out of the carb and onto the garage floor. Of all the safety devices on a lawn tractor/mower. This is one I would not by pass. and yes I'm speaking from on hand experience.
Been working on my 675 for years. It's very finicky but the problem most likely came from the O ring and the while plastic ring that didn't go back on to the manifold. I only know that because I hired someone to work on mine. The O ring is hard to see inside the carb and hard to tell if it's not there. Great video. Wish I had seen this when I first started working on mine.
You should get quad lock to sponsor you. In my opinion, they make the best phone mounts ever. They have the ability to put wireless QI chargers on them, anti vibration mounts and easy on/off mounting. I guess the only downside would be the cost. They’re not cheap. The system you have here is not bad as I have this on my Harley. But my phone feels every vibration. I have the quad lock on the BMW. Still a great video you have here. Thanks for posting.
I’d love to be sponsored by someone! My son loves his quad lock. I went with this Ram so I wouldn’t have to buy a new phone case every time I changed phones.
I guess I should have filmed that part too! Not hard to do, and I didn’t even have to touch him. You can start to compress the spring and it releases the mole.
I’m gonna start looking for some of these around my area! Would you mind saying what you bought this beauty for? I’d love to be able to find one just like it, that red is beautiful.
I paid $1800. They tend to go for cheap, even though they are very reliable. Some people think they aren’t as exciting as other bikes, so it’s harder to sell them unless the price is nice and low.
I had one of these bikes. I rode it a lot. I live in long island and went down to the dragon's tail one summer. I sold mine because when I went out for long rides my lower neck use to hurt like hell.
I did exactly that before I watched your video and made it work. Good job making the video. I still have this mower randomly stopping or not starting. Need to fix the carb.
Replaced mine yesterday, got all the old gas out but maybe half a quart, put ethanol free gas in, can't get the b to start but with staring fluid then it shuts off. I'm be checked everything but the heads, kind of at a loss at the moment
Hi, I’ve recently started cutting my lawn on a shorter grade and I realise when my two front wheels are normally on the ground it digs into the grass however when I lift them up slightly and I mow it doesn’t dig into the grass, I’m thinking my front wheels need adjusting but they’re currently on the lowest hole/mode so if I put it higher, will it raise the front end?
Hi I’ve got a 345 JD that the raise and lower lever isn’t raising or lowering the snowblower. Any ideas? Hydraulic issue ? It looks to be connected correctly. It was working then stopped.
Very helpful and informative lawn mower repair video. Are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and you are a small engine repair veteran. Maybe we would work together to help more people in the community.
Even my local dealer did not make this process look as easy as you did. After many angry attempts, I followed your guidance and in MINUTES I was up and running again. Love this video. Thank you!!!!
@@andysshop the challenge is finding the one wwhere the holes line up with the screws in the brake supply is there a number of something on the holder?
Nice, I 'm just working on one as we speak, mine was in terrible shape, did the whole shabam, harley rear seat for the lady, carbtune , harley exhausts....the original one was a piece of rust, fortified the rear swingarm because of some rust inbetween the legs, etc . I used to drive zzr14 . ninja6r, tlr and always curious how a pc 800 drives .Hope you'll enjoy, Curious to know your driving experiences on this jetsons alike bike....😃
@@andysshop looked at the vstar1300, seems to me a completely different bike, so the driving.......compared to the pc..!? I Like the sound from the vstar. Why not a Harley? Here in Belgium they're expensive also the parts, but in USA ,ar'nt they cheaper than an imported bike?
Once you make some adjustments and fix it it actually a great mower , I was disappointed at first but once I fixed everything it's turned out to be a good machine .
that was it! thanks a lot. I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure this out yesterday. One of the three holes was plugged. I took a dental pick to it, put it back together and it fired right up.
The transaxle is very sensitive to any dirt and/or any debris. That is why there is the foam insert in the fill. CLEAN YOUR MACHINE before attempting this. Blow off, or rinse and dry, if you don't have access to compressed air. It's a total waste of time if you allow contaminants into the system.
