I bought my 1979 ford f250 4x4 in June of 79 for 10600 taxes in (Canada) Best truck I ever owned. I had it untill 1995. I put an extra 8000 k in her in extras. You needed a pair of sun glasses when I opened the hood because I had it all chromed and some nickel plated. I totally beefed up the motor and suspension and exhaust. I sold it in 1995 for 10k. The sound system Pioneer had a 100 watt amp under the seat..lol. This is a beautiful truck you have...Thanks for the great memory!
Very disappointed and puzzled why we didn't get to see the 426 Street Wedge engine? It is THE SHOW on the otherwise understated package! Literally, with it's beautiful chromed air breather and chromed valve covers dressing out 365 HORSEPOWER!
I'm from Arizonza and that Corvair was the top salesmans car from Rudolph Chevrolet in Phoenix, his name was Lou Grubb and he bought it and stored it from brand new. It's very cool and have seen it in the past, in person, many times. The last time I saw it it had 15 miles on it... Lou Grubb went on to buy the Phoenix dealership and changed the name to Lou Grubb Chevrolet. You can see the Rudolph Chevrolet sticker on the deck lid...a great car, even has the original tires! 🤠
One of the most beautiful cars from GM, that a stupid who don't know how to drive, talk bad and stop the production and thousand of stupids that believe in the magazine writers.
The automatic choke design on most sixties cars did not allow the engine to idle down significantly until you tapped the accelerator. I was waiting throughout this video for the person to do that.
Just incredible ! Out of the 6,000 Corvair's produced in the last year of production for the Chevrolet Corvair 1969 , The 500 Coupe was the most produced for a total production of 2.762 & 2,717 Monza Coupes , & only 521 Monza Convertibles .The only option that I can see on the automobile is the AM radio ! & this only has the 95 HP engine , Sure would have liked to have seen the optional clock in the center pod . Still this is a totally flawless example of the 1969 Chevrolet Corvair 500 ( plain Jane ) Thanks for the video , Again totally awesome.
