Watching a great artist sucome to the power of public opinion. Still great but we must all contend with getting older. What looked good on an 18 year old punk rocker doesn't hold up as a 50 year old. His talent is undeniable. Someone needs to save him...
i love how,, cradled this rendition is. she sings it so gently, as if its no longer her crying out of despair from the events of this song, especially in the latter half of the song. instead, she nurtures her pain and lets it go. "aren't you tired of me?" ethel asks her father if what he had done was worth the irreparable, unspeakable damage caused to her, and their relationship. but not in an angry way but in an almost lax, aloof way. the sin will always be there, it's already hurt her undefinably -- does it not hurt him also? it's almost closure, and it's so pretty
I do but it’s nothing to look at but the back of peoples heads. She sat on the stage facing away from the audience and it’s only like a minute and a half :/ I’m surprised someone from the barrier hasn’t uploaded theirs yet with a better view.
God, she couldn't ask for a better crowd at this show. Not only are they so thrilled to be there, but they're completely in sync and in tune when they sing along with her. This sort of audience is an every artist's dream, and she totally knows it :). Love it how they all erupt in screams when she sings "rich!" at 1:21. That little interchange was beyond special.
“my love is my love its big love for u. Til its ur love and its ur love and its ur problem too”the way she sings is so hauntingly beautiful. i wish this song was on spotify
This is one particular song I had wished to be on the set list back in March in Vancouver..but very much blessed with what was delivered that night regardless, absolutely. One day though. Thanks for posting. 😊
