The ad-folder is a promo for Bodoe being one of the three 2024 European Capitals of Culture (the other two being Tartu in Estonia and Bad Ischl in Austria); a lot of Widerøe's operations are in North Norway, often passing through Bodø Airport (BOO). While European Capital of Culture is an EU program, every three years, non-EU cities (from either a non-EU country that is a candidate for membership, a potential candidate for membership, or part of the European Economic Area (EEA)) are eligible to be selected.
@@starplanespotter At bout 6 minutes and 21 seconds into the cideo ou go through teh contents in the seat pocket - the safety card, the puke bages, adn then the narrow green folded card that you wrote "Some kind of an ad" - that's the one I'm talking about
Well, the reason the CRJ is faster than an ATR is because an ATR is like a tractor in the sky and anything with jet engines will always be wayyyyyy faster 🤦♂️
Nerd emoji moment🤓🤓🤓 but technically this 737-8200 MAX does not have a plug door, it has a regular emergency exit door as required per regulations by aviation safety agencies. A plug door is basically a door that doesn’t have a handle and acts as a regular fuselage panel. 737s configured with less seats will have plug doors like the Alaska 737 MAX 9s which surprisingly have less seats than this Ryanair 737-8200 max despite being longer
I remember ine time when I was flying with SAS, an English girl behind me was talking with someone on the phone, pre take off. She told them she was flying with SAS, before having to specify "No no no. Not the Special Air Service. The airline.
Great to see a review for a flight to my hometown Ørsta! Not often I see those even tho it's one of the busiest flights Widerøe has, probably mainly because it doesn't have a connecting flight up north to Trondheim or further north. I hope you had good time visiting my town, even though it was a super short stay!
