I've ran a similar build many timers, but with armors that give extra grenades and a guard dog instead of what you showed here, I don't usually set myself on fire and I'm usually pretty good at avoiding hunters and stalkers.
The Knight is not bad on bug worlds, I was able to survive on Helldiver with it. Automatons its fuckin useless, unless you are like nut to butt with the clanker. Even then barely useful. Shoots fast, so it seems like a weapon you gotta pair up with an armor that would help you control the recoil better. Burst fire that shit, cause it spends ammo like your wife spends money.
I've always been taking the flamethrower and eagle napalm against bugs for the crowd control abilities. I might look into incorporating the jump pack into my flamer build. If you're willing to deviate from the theme a bit, OPS is a pretty decent anti bile titan strategem. Edit: Sidenote, the flamethrower is even better if you can find a defensive high ground position above narrow paths, like at extraction.
Literally my main build for bugs, Napalm eagle strike, Orbital laser, Flammenwerfer, incendiary shotgun, impact incendiary grenades, and Senator revolver cause its the only secondary i use. Also supply pack to keep burning those bugs nonstop.
How do you survive with this in missions where its overwhelmingly hunters and pouncers? I feel like I would fare poorly with those stratagems against them and they are sometimes the most common threat where just the primary weapon and grenades is not enough and they prevent reloading an autocannon.
SMG pummeler is excellent at dealing with those, it stagger stuns them (even when they're Mid leap) and you can run and shoot at the same time. Autocannon is moreso for large packs when you have the position.
Being the lowest difficulty that spawned 3rd tier samples made difficulty 7 optimal for farming since it can be cleared quickly with a high success rate. The recent buff to sample spawns means it might be better to run 6 now, but 7 is great for a fun, casual run.
I know a helldiver... He doesn't fight for democracy... He fights for his daughter... The only one he has left who cares about him... And that helldiver would be me...
I mainly use the eruptor on primary, so this isnt a problem, but yeah the dagger is as underperforming/inefficient as the thermite nades. impact or incen impact nades are far more versatile and efficient

whoops theres a slowed down illuminate background battle music (Like how the bots and bugs have their own) coming from it... Think about it, we use E710 for hyperspace travel, we just dumped 20 planets worth into one singularity, we prolly just created a wormhole

Why would I use something that will blow up randomly? I dont care if its got better height and distance I'll stick with the normal jump pack if i ever get the game
Which game is this? Because the 500kg bomb in the Helldivers 2 I play doesn't have such a large range. Besides, you were behind the hill, that's enough for the bugs to not bother them. That's a 500k on steroids.
