My name is Jared Fox and together with my girlfriend Nina we are exploring Europe full time in a van called Sooty- Sooty is a self converted camper van that we built together. Sooty is a 2015 4x4 Ford Transit. My self and Nina have moved into the van full time and are on a one year adventure around Europe and North Africa. We saved some money and took one year off job to get out amongst the world and live life out of the daily grind of life. Sooty is a fully off grid van so we do not need to rely on power and campsites. We love getting out in nature, running and surfing. We did not want to wait until we were 65 to start enjoying life . vaporiser on the DPF is a common fault, can cause it to go in limp mode, which would make sense if you are leaving the engine running on idle when you are pitched up or something, did you have any codes when they plugged it in?
@@jaredandnina well to be honest mate that code is a Communication error between ECM and PCM, which can cause all kinds of problems and limp mode, if an error is found between the 2 it can send your van into limp mode, PCM is powertain control module, your turbo actuator and turbo are part of the power train, that code you need to be looking at wiring faults, corroded connectors, corroded earth straps, a good auto electrician will be able to get to the bottom of it, if your ECM and PCM are sending dodgy signals, your actuator isnt gunna know what the fuck to do with itself so it sends the van into limp mode
@paddyici6629 the gut who fitted the turbo is putting a new one in as we speak . He seems to think it mite be a dodgy turbo /solenoid. If this doesn't work I am going to take ur advice and get to auto electrician. Thanks heaps:)
@@jaredandnina It is a possibility, but highly unlikely, especially if you have bought it directly from ford, all im saying is its going to cost you twice in labour just for the turbo
@paddyici6629 this guy is changing it out with no extra charge. If it doesn't work will get to auto electrician. We need to get to the bottom of it . Been 2 wks now

Sorry you got so much rain, Typical Scottish summer! Skye is hikers paradise, they come from all round the UK to walk there. Are you off to Loch Morlich Next in Aviemore? Interesting fact the Norwegian Saboteurs who blew up the heavy water in the Norsk Hydro (heroes of Telemark) trained in the Cairngorms, and Loch Morlich. Gave me goosebumps seeing Skye and I think you drove past Portree as well… Safe travels..
Yes that was Portree u saw 👀 we liked skye very nice nature 😀 this I did not know about the Norwegians. We were at morlich today amazing place :) had a coffee with the boy today as well he shouted us a Greggs was great to see him 😀
