@kirilllasis3720 is right! The programming system itself is really stupid. You basically have 3 imposed cycles during a 24 hrs period, wich is idiotic because you cannot really customize the time intervals by your own daily needs. The trouble is that you will fully realize that when you'll try to set it up... :/
Does anyone know how to reset the receiver that’s wired to the boiler? I’ve a solid red light all the time suggesting it’s paired. I’ve tried switching off for 10 mins, but it comes on with solid red light and I can’t pair my new thermostat 🤦🏼
Bonjour Merci pour la vidéo Comment faire quand vous avez un débitmètre que vous ouvrez ou fermez et qu'il ne se passe rien, le niveau reste le même ou ne fonctionne pas Merci pour votre intérêt
Read this! I had a problem with the Salus rt310i, the room unit did not send a signal to the unit on the boiler or something like that, the problem was mainly the signal between those two units, the one on the boiler simply did not respond... I tried everything according to the instructions, according to the advice from yt and everything was unsuccessful... I would manage to get a solid red light, but never a green one... took out the batteries several times, changed them, waited, turned off the boiler, switched to manual mode, reset the internet module and nothing, everything was unsuccessful. .. I was already getting ready to start buying a new one, but at the last moment I decided to eliminate the internet module, not realizing that it could have any impact, and for some reason, there was a problem... everything worked after I eliminated it... So, if someone has a similar problem, someone must try this, maybe it will help.
Just had to have my central heating thermostat replaced and this is the one the plumber brought. I've been able to change the one in my last house. I've been able to change the one I had prior to this. But I'm looking at this one in sheer puzzlement. At least I know it's not my fault. I've got the little leaflet with instructions and the first thing I've had to do is photocopy it and separate into two sections - Section 1 - not the customers section Section 2 - is the customers section. I don't want all the guff the plumber requires interspersed with all the stuff the customer requires!!!!!! So I've knocked out the rubbish (as far as the customer is concerned). Still not feeling too hopeful I'll understand it even then (and I'm far from daft!). Never had to have instruction leaflet stuff for my last two boiler controls! That alone makes me think this one is unnecessarily complicated. Thank goodness I know I've got 130 IQ - and, so if I still can't figure it out = it's not my fault (ie it's theirs).
I have had this for years and found it so confusing to use i ended up turning it to manual on my boiler, taking the batteries out and shoving it in a cupboard 🤣 i was able to turn my boiler up and down to whatever setting i wanted and it was much easier but probably more expensive. Now its winter time and my house gets so cold were up at 7 and leave at 830 so ideally i need to be having it on while were asleep so usually i leave it on overnight 🤣 again very expensive. This video does make it seem a lot more easier to understand tbh so i shall give it another go many years later and hoofully it will work. Im a bit confused as my boiler is on 70 degrees and this goes upt0 25 as their different ways to show the tempreture but hopefullly itll come on at 6 in the mornign and will feel nice and cosy for us all wish me luck haha
Many criticize these thermostats, but I've owned mine for four years without any problems until today when changing the battery required re-pairing. Thanks to a helpful video, the process only took a couple of minutes.
i agree with the other comments. my advise is to leave well alone it is an absolute nightmare to set and is the most complicated thermostat i have come across. you have been warned
Literally took me 5 mins to program after watching this video. Cant get much easier. No idea why people are complaining. Also of you want to turn the heating on manually. Theres a hand sign on Thermostat, just click that then turn the temp up to what you want as you would a normal manual thermostat.
this is the WORST heating system i have ever encountered and has given me nothing but grief since i moved into this flat. whoever designed a thermostat system to be this convoluted should be ashamed of themsleves. also important to add there is no solution listed for when the unit does just turn blank (mid use i might add). no i didn't change the batteries wrong, there is no troubleshoot option listed other than telling me i've done something wrong when the batteries werent even touched and still had charge.
I had to watch the video a few times to understand what the designer of this shambolic system had in his head. I bet he was the one who was kicking kittens as a child.
