I'm making my second poncho with this tutorial in under a month. That's a big deal for me i usually do poorly with big projects but this is so fun. God bless you ❤
When I reach the top of the back, I skip stitches leaving an opening for the neck and then continue. No need to stitch the front and back sections. For the sleeves, I attached the sleeve and then stitch the sides of the sleeve continuing then continue to finish stitching the sides. No need to guess at the armhole opening size.
I continue just as I did in previous rows for the shoulder area then chain where the open neck area before completing the opposite shoulder. The following rows are done the same, just working top to bottom.
Thank You. I love this sunhat. Very easy to understand. I belong to a craft group at my local seniors' centre. This will go into our sale window and I'm sure it will sell quickly. I have subscribed to your channel. Again Thank You.
Do you think you could make another tutorial where you go slower or at least clearly show what ur doing a bit clearer. I'm stuck on the start. No matter how many tutorials I watch they're too fast and when I pull the string the 6 st bunch up. I'm so confused 😢
Oh my gosh, I struggle so much with all of these other popular crafty people, and you are the most clear, considerate, instructor I've come across yet, not even 10 minutes in and it makes complete sense! I love how you mention not to worry about the appearance, I for one always worry about the outcome so the little things like that always give me relief when I'm starting new projects, keep up the good work! <3
Its an easy pattern, and I know its a repeat of rows 3 and 4, but i do wish there was a count after each row, because if im off one tr or dc, the whole thing will be off...
I had never been able to crochet until this video. Your right handed tutorial in the mirror was way better than any left handed one I had watched. I watched the first couple of minutes, and after I learned the single crochet I turned it off. I learned how to make multiple little beans. Thank you so much. After watching this, crocheting just clicked
@TheCraftNut i am not using a pattern and therefore I don't have a right amount of stitches im gonna make a bear but I'm trying to learn without a tutorial it's makes some better I've made the legs and I even made a little tutu but I still need arms, a body and head but its getting there, also it's probably tension too bc I have a really hard grip
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I kinda failed on my first attempt, but I made it into a dumpling and it’s so cute! I’m now working to do more and I think I’ve really improved since my first one. 😂
