What makes this more interesting is that they actually hated each other in real life and after the series ended in 2012 they never spoke to each other again….
Let me point out that the show started with Serena who slept with Nate, Blair’s boyfriend, at the Shepperd wedding, on the bar counter, and ended with Serena who slept with Blair’s boyfriend, Dan, at the Shepperd divorce, on the bar counter.
Turns out, Blake Lively didn't even have to act to play Serena! She was just being her entitled self the entire time - no wonder her and Leighton Meester have never been friends in rl because Leighton is a total down-to-earth sweetheart!
How effing ironic of Blair to be ACTUALLY talking about "real world" when she was ultimately priveleged, reasonably failed to get into a proper college on her own and remained rich thanks to her mother handing her the company she hardworkingly created. Blair was indeed, a "supposedly" hardworking and bright student, which is odd because as far as I'm concerned, she spent majority of her time scheming over people, arranging parties and fighting her best friend, but she gracefully stained that labeling by being a freaking bully. Serena might've not been as succesfull as she is, but Serena displayed great social posture and stance in life. Truthfully, both are priveleged and lucky heirs to wealth and power. If you want to idolize a character, idolize someone who earned what they had and does not have a compilation of scenes where she spits childish insults to someone she calls bestie :)
THE LAST SCENE? so real. I hated the blair and dan relationship but u dont just 'steal' someone. Dan's not a baby ffs he fell in love with her thats not her fault damn
I hate serena, honestly. She literally published blair's journal while living in her house who the fuck does that? She always pretended to be nice but she was the real bitch
Honestly, everyone says Blair was a B. but Serena was the Queen B and she slept with her best friends boyfriend and ghosted her when her parents were going through a divorce.. So yeah.. Serena was horrible
