La Cala has develloped beautifully during the last decades, making it the best chill-out location at the costa del sol. 5:40 into the video is one of the best family owned restaurants in the area: "El Cortijillo"

The hole problem is Spain is zoning. Too much money coming into the economy ends up in land and properties, but buildable land is a tiny area of all the land in Spain. Most of Spain is completely empty but land is very expensive making everything unaffordable. Around where i live there are so much space, but a piece of land to build a small house is 200k and up, making even an old run down house unaffordable for mostly everyone.

This video is all over the place guys. Talking about macroeconimics: Andalusian houseprices fell 33% during the great financial crisis (GFC) in 2008 and didnt recover until 2022 and now we are at the edge of a new GFC - prices will come down in the coming years my friends.
If you know exactly when it is coming down, we all would be billionaires. The secret is to have the right portfolio at the right time.... and not wait for something that may happen one day

In a future video I would like to hear more about why developers dont buy buildings that look like ruins in more popular places like Benalmadena and Fuengirola (closer to Malaga) and build new? Is it hard to get permission?
