It hurt my heart to see him snatch and grab all the heat. What was his reason for thinking he could snipe you like that? He said he was the sellers friend? Brutal but still got some awesome titles. Good video man
Always appreciate the shared Finds Broski! Yes Hulk Hogan there is something else, one of my best shorts is based off him in Celebrity Thunderdome LOL I degress, You are the best West Coast #RetroTech Hunter I know, you have passion! I need to get my room organized, it is smaller but man packed like a Submarine with tapes. It gets to be a challenge organzing and utiilzing display/storage capacities LOL You are Motivating Broski! Keep on Huntin' 59th St Survivor from Oklahoma City, OK
Is it weird that watching other people thrift for VHS makes me jealous? I've never seen any of those Alvin and the Chipmunks tapes in one of the two places I go. That one was before my time too so who knows, I probably would've picked it up if I had found it. I'm only familiar with: Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein (1999), Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman (2000) and Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks (2015-2023 TV show, produced in France and got imported to USA on Nickelodeon.) What's funny is apparently they reused the theme from the 1980s series which I had never seen. My mom really likes the most recent series and what's really tragic is according to Ross Bagdasarian Jr originally a sixth and seventh season was confirmed in 2019, but then the series abruptly ended production the year prior so those planned seasons got cancelled.
It becomes a passion, I never stopped buying them at 42 years old LOL there was a gap for about 7 years of no purchases but, rapidly increased with everyone going to Blu Ray, I like collecting good trash for cheap LOL It is apart of the gig, disaster capitalism
Examine this marvelous predator with gripper gloves live in action, a true sign of an expert #RetroTech Hunter Deep into the dig. I love what you do as it is what I do! I use Vinyl gloves though so afterwords I can see the dirt N' grime residues LOL My Sister's called me up once and said they found a show with a character just like me! The show was DEXTER LOL I just hunt VHS and Laser Disc really though done enough un-dead G-Virus dirty work for Umbrella Corp LOL Keep on Huntin' Broski Media like this will not be free in 10 years, or less. 7:20 I have 2 of those Panasonics now, they are not too bad. Love my Zeneth though the Cadillac of VCRS!
Haha you know what it is bro! We are digging for junk after all lol. Helps with grip and keeping the dirt away AND I feel kind of cool wearing them lol. The panasonics are very simple straightforward VCRs and I love them for that very reason. I usually love using them as testers. I've yet to find a Zenith but recently found 2 RCAs and the build on those are pretty solid. Still gotta see how they hold up performance wise.
Dude I joined your first Whatnot show last week and I was about to ask if that was you. I’ve been subbed for awhile and when I saw the media room in the live, it instantly had me questioning 😂 keep up the awesome work man, love the content! 📼
Wassup bro! Thanks for stopping by the show bro. Funny thing is this footage is a few months ago and the room looks alot different now lol but that's so dope man! Thank you for tuning in! Appreciate you.
I just picked up The Phantom with Bruce Lee Fists of Fury for $1.00 Canadian at a Garage sale this past Saturday. Also picked up The Flintstones Live Action movie for 0.50 cents Canadian also got a VCR for $2.00 at a yard sale this past Saturday and it works
15:12 Holiday Inn is a classic movie- and that's actually where the song White Christmas comes from. Head up- there's a blackface scene that's pretty cringy to watch today.
...i used to hunt VHS anytime all the time when hunting wasn't as popular, that was a good time ; i found so many grails during that time, tapes was 1 - 2 dollars a piece then went for 50cent - 1 then 25cent! i found at least 85% of the movies i wanted and then it dried up, i still check spots every now and then but so far it's slim pickins
Man. I wish any thrift stores anywhere in my area 1: had VHS selection beyond a handfull of tapes 2: didnt want to charge anywhere from $1.50-$3.00 per tape, and 3: didn't do shit like attaching series/sequels/etc. together with literal packing tape, that wrecks the sleeves when removed. I 100% EXCLUSIVELY hunt for VHS at the Goodwill and St Vincent DePaul outlet stores, which thankfully i have 2 goodwill, and 1 SVD outlet within 15-20 min of my house. And at least they price em at $0.05/inch at the bins. So i can go and dig 20 VHS tapes out at each store, come home with 60 to add to the collection, and I only spent $3 total (aside from gas, of course) Super cool and helpful seeing as i refuse to order tapes online in any capacity. Im up to 340 so far, and have only been collecting seriously for around a year, and only movies i actually want to watch, have seen, or am intereted in. Started off w my gf wanting to own the disney movies, and of course now im snatching up every piece of nostalgia, horror, anime, and whatever i can find thats more intersting than disney clamshells, and she gets to also look for the remaining 15 or so shes missing from her giant disney list. Win-win 🥰😂
My best finds so far have been a handful of OG Wu Tang shit english-dub king fu movies, John Waters' pink flamingos in a clear clamshell missing the original sleeve, but can't complain on that find in the wild fr, and just recently I found in the same trip, the entire yugioh duelist kingdom arc on like, 16 tapes, and Kill Bill 1 & 2. Gotta love the rush when u find some good good on the low & in the wild. Good luck with ur hunting, pyimp 🙏🏻😩
I used to have that exact same xmen tape ....gf from hell 🔥🔥🔥perfect example on watching sequels first, recently did that w "wish master " I realized I was missing wish master 2 ....well picked it up and it was the best one imo....also Amityville Horror, Mom rented it as I was a child....I was horrified beyond belief knowing it was in NY and I'm from there, welllllll couple years later find out Amityville was no where near us LMAOOOOO GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS BRO 🎉❤🤘🤘🤘
I have never seen HAIR VHS before. That was very interesting to see along with DINO-Sal Mineo at a Flea Market! Been doing flea market since 1980s. Nice video!
That was so rude how he just came in and acted like a Vulture to the kill. Hope you can get the titles you missed out on another time....maybe you already have since my comment is a year or more after your video. 😊
