Sir... thanks for doing these videos with Mixcraft . I was sceptical of purchasing DAW controllers because I wasn't sure if they were compatible with Mixcraft, although Mixcraft should improve and collaborate with hardware companies.
Important information, I only have a doubt if I am using a drum plugin on the same computer, in this case the addictive drumms, how do I make the connection to record? Thank you
Hi. I use Notion in a pit orchestra situation (Performance/Tap Mode), but wanted to augment the included sounds with other "sounds". Can notion play/link to MainStage (Mac)? Or other sounds such as EastWest or Garritan, etc.?
Question: At @4:53 why can you not simply select the sample rates which your want to be able to access if the DAW sample rate changes, so that those rates will be standing by?
I want to connect a condenser mic. Presumably I'll need to add phantom power in the signal chain, but... 1. Will I also need a preamp? 2. Was that gain setting you showed in this video the equivalent to a preamp? Or was it actually compression? 3. In the case that it's for gain and not compression. How can I adjust the amount of compression? Thanks
Thank you for this video. On the iPad, do you know how to connect Solid Lines to individual notes? I followed your steps here to input a solid line from the Lines palette… but it places the line above the Staff. I try to drag it down to connect the two notes but it doesn’t move. Thank you for any help
This was very helpful in configuring a single-fader PreSonus Faderport 2 (2018 version) in MixCraft 9. The boot process for this device is to power on while pressing the Next key, then press the Arm key, following the owner manual's instructions for configuring the Faderport for the Ableton Live controller.
So happy to see someone using Mixcraft and the faderport too! Nice one! Was thinking about getting the Iostation, now I'm actually positive that it will get things done in Mixcraft 9.
he shows how amazing the notation program is using examples for babies…. That’s why we still don’t have a proper version of this app and other ones. People focus more on selling than solving the problem. The problem in this case is fast work flow for rich and sophisticated scores . Anyway it is the only app i found the best for composition, before Logic Pro
Hello Chris: Really appreciate the tutorial and helpful information. In Notion how do I EASILY TRANSPOSE a composition, practice exercise, lead sheet or score etc. into lets say all 30 basic major minor scales with their corresponding time signature and articulations? Thank you sir!
Hi, thanks for this… I’ve been struggling with getting a good reverb, sadly you haven’t shown what effect your using… when I had my analog desk a few years back I had an amazing vocal effects which I’m trying desperately to reproduce on the xr the last 4 years!!
Thank you for posting. Would this be capable of handling four instruments and four vocals all at the same time, i.e. all members of the band each have an instrument and a microphone. Thanks.
Hi there, not sure if you will see this. I have my Audio I/O setup exactly the same as yours with Presonos StudioOne. However, whenever I clicked inputs on anything above 1-2 i.e. 3-4, 5-6, the "M" does not appear coloured and clicking apply does not save the settings. Am I doing something wrong?
Yes. In fact the practical limit with DVS is 64 channels in and out so you can have many different Dante interfaces on the same network. The Yamaha TIO-1608 is one we use in many setups allowing 16 in/8 out in one device with 16 mic pres that can be controlled remotely via the free Yamaha R-Remote app (Mac and PC).
Is it possible to play 4-channel track from USB stick? For example to have separate stereo playback for a house and band members and playback with a click for a drummer.
Please respond Cant I connect another 1000 watt amp for passive speakers? (For monitor) Or, do they ABSOLUTELY have to be powered speakers in order to get monitor TO A live band.
PLEASE HELP!! I CANNOT PLAY MUSIC FROM A USB STICK! I have tried everything! Followed online instructions from different forums Watched the Behringer videos This is what I have done so far. * Formatted a few different USB sticks to FAT32 * Recorded music at 44.1kHz & 48kHz * Sample rate 16bit and also 24bit In my XR12, my sample rate is set to 44.1kHz. I even tried setting it to 48kHz, and tried playing music recorded at 48kHz. STILL NOTHING! I can "Record" to the USB sticks, BUT CAN'T PLAY MUSIC FROM THEM!?? Someone please help me. I would really appreciate your help. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?
Thanks for this. Do you know how to do playback of an audio file using the XR18? And whether track selection/start, pause, stop functions via midi control? Thanks!
I have a problem with aux outputs to my iem. I want to have stereo iem signal, but I can’t do this. I want to have one guitar on left headphone and the other one on the right. Is this aux output support stereo? I have a stereo cables and stereo iem wireless system but I hear only mono. Can you help me? Maybe it’s something to change with the settings? (Pan doesn’t work)
