Im gonna be honest, for people that are just getting this game in 2024, this tutorial isn't very good in my opinion. You don't really need to finish the story to get this stuff as i got it without beating story mode. First play the character episode mode fully to get as much money and materials as possible to upgrade your gear before starting territory recovery mode. The play the story mode up until the first scout mission with Hange, (this will unlock scout missions for later). Then play territory recovery mode fully and beat the normal mode, after that you shouldn't have perfected gear yet but you should be able to survive in inferno mode trm (the way to get colossal crystal my way is by buying them in another mode, the shop changes all the time so you might have to leave the game or wait a day for the colossal crystals to show up, this is like a hub area where you can buy things with wings of freedom like materials since you'll have a lot of them after beating territory recovery mode normally). After that play inferno mode trm and get the crystals that you need and all the other materials and money and before you get into inferno mode trm, upgrade your war room to at least level 5 i think, that way you can recruit volunteers with 40 wings of freedom, make sure to find a guy named kitz and level up your camaraderie with him and your cac to level 5 and if you wanna use it on other characters then level up kitz and bertholdt's camaraderie to level 5 as well to unlock the free skill called elimination bounty. This skill allows you to get 20 plus materials after getting 10 COMPLETE eliminations, that means no mess-ups. After that you can grind for the materials, money and wings of freedom a lot faster. That was just getting perfected ultimate set. Now for the reinforcing part if you wanna be overpowered before playing story mode. First you have to get a normal set of blades scabbards and gear, fresh out the shop, no upgrades. Then you buy 99 blades to get your blades to 99 reinforcement level. All you need is generic statement of deployment material and if you wanna grind for that make sure you have the elimination bounty skill and then play the first scout mission over and over to get generic statement of deployment, you need an s rank, so you need to get 10 complete titan eliminations. after you grind those, and buy the 99 blades and reinforce them with the original un upgraded blades, you will need a rainbow drop to upgrade it further, you can either buy it in another mode with 80 wings of freedom or grind them some other way. after that the 99 on the first set of blades should be an orange or red color (i cant really tell) then you need 1 blade that is reinforced to 95, then 4 more of those. So buy another fresh scabbard and reinforce it to 95 with the same method that you just used. then do that again to another fresh blade, and then again, and again, until you have 5 blades that are reinforced to 95, then get 1 more blade, that is reinforced to 20, then reinforce the red 99 blade with those 6 blades that you reinforced and then boom, you have 99 star perfected ultimate blades. THATS NOT IT. you have to also do that exact same thing with scabbards and gear too. the reinforcing to 99, then getting 5 scabbards and gear that are reinforced to 95 and then that extra one that is reinforced to 20 and then boom you have the full perfected ultimate set that is reinforced to 99 star without beating story mode. AND BTW, BEATING STORY MODE DOESNT MAKE THIS FASTER OR EASIER IT JUST ADDS MORE TIME ONTO THE PLAY TIME IN MY OPINIONS.
