I’ve been always thinking about the best way to foliar calcium the way I do it is roast egg cell till brown then apple cider vinegar to strip off the calcium i spray it with a Surfactants or wetting agent curious how you foliar calcium?
Be interesting to do a sap test than a foliar feed and then follow it with another plant test. Assuming you're doing a maintenance feed and not a deficiency correction
I'm 65 and haven't farmed since 1990. In north Mississippi, all farmers used to band with the planter till the early 70s. Some yahoos got to everybody to broadcast because it was faster and they claimed the yeald would be the same or better. At that time dad and I would chisel to incorporate until the early 90s when conservation tillage and eventually no till came into being. I went into another career and dad and my younger brother kept going. Dad has passed andy brother went full controlled traffic no till. He's been very successful, but I've always encouraged him to find a way to place fertilizer into the soil ( band) ,but to no avail. I just now ran across your channel,and sent him a link.
