Despite having personally played over 1,500 hours on Splatoon 2, Splatoon 3 has wrecked my brain enough that during the Splat2 segments I keep thinking, "Why aren't they squid surging? .... oh, right lol"
i picked team past cause i feel like that would be the most interesting theme for a splatoon game, and happy we won :D - would be fine with any 3 of them winning but i prefer the idea of splatoon 4 having a theme of "past" rather than "present" or "future" since i feel the other 2 have been done alot recently in splatoon

sorry i didn't get time to do it when i ran Side Order ~3 months back before i got pretty busy, and since then i had forgot about it, i remember it being one of those "get these specifc colors in the color palette with this weapon" where the colors didn't have the weapon's color chip bias, but i don't remember the exact rules. What were the rules or could you find the original comment cause i couldn't find it using youtube's comment search feature, i would like to try it out i just forgot about it recently

I have one question: HOW IN THE NAME OF SPLATOON DID YOU DO THIS WITHOUT THE GUN, WITHOUT RESTARTING IN 14 MINUTES? THE AMOUNT OF PATIENCE THIS PROBABLY TOOK IS CRAZY. EITHER THAT OR YOU'RE JUST NATURALLY AN AMAZING GAMER 😭
It took around 5-10hrs across a few days to do this without restarting, but like 90% of the time was spent on the balloon-popping section, that one's just barely possible
I’m thinking about getting into bamboo when mk II comes out, any tips on how to begin? (I play squiffer so I have the aim, mainly asking about gear and positioning.)
gear depends on the playstyle, i generally like having ink efficiency like Ink-Saver-Main. Ink-Saver-Sub and Special Charge are both really good on the mk1 but unsure about the mk2. for positioning both the mk1 and mk2 are very support and midrange playstyle, you have the range to stay a bit behind your teammates while also having the speed to react quickly support any one of them. The mk2 seems like it will be pretty good for taking control of edges of maps and other key areas, so it's worth playing backline for a bit, keep the base well painted, then when you have the special use it to lock down an area.
