A blog reviewing those relatively cheap trading cards you see on sites like AliExpress. Well, I went and bought basically all of them and I'm slowly opening and reviewing everything. Come and find out how weird this hobby can get.
Too bad you can't change the batteries out of the music cards. The TCG card ship sim game is pretty cool! I am at level 48 and am really struggling to keep opening packs so I can level up. Such hard work!
this is so helpful! i have a growing collection of 10 yuan cards, i was lucky enough to get a purple box when it was still only 40 dollars. based on what I had seen on ebay, i thought that the 5 yuan and 2 yuan boxes were not officially licensed, so its good to know that they actually are! i will definitely be getting them so i can get some N-tier cards, they are so cool! thank you for making this content, its hard to find much information on it since its all in chinese lol.
The hits from the 3rd box are bangers. I've opened 3 myself and would get more but they're hard to find a consistent source to buy from. The second box has some good stuff too, wish they had one more higher rarity hit in them.
I wanted the cat ones but I guess I didn't realize you have to get all 6 and that is why I was so confused about how to get them. I just watched a RU-vid video about the supporters during the revolutionary time in America and it was actually quite sad because they were ostracized by their neighbors. Most wound up in Canada or in other parts of the British Empire by the end of the war.
It's taking up two entire rooms right now... There are many where I don't remember the exact set name or maybe just never knew the set name. I'm using numbers to organize them this time. So the dividers in the boxes have a number on them that matches a line in a spreadsheet with the name. This way I can change which number goes to which set later on - or combine things as needed. My goals are to both sort through it all but also figure out what I might want to sell, what I want to keep and what I don't really care about.
Believe it or not, this is the second Golden Girls rip I've watched this week. lol. Card Smiths make great cards, but I can't get behind the prices. They're a little steep for me. So I just live vicariously through youtube videos of GG rips. I did get the Street Fighter ones that they did though and the Bob Ross.
The Street Fighter cards are definitely my favorites, sad we never got a second edition of those. They have a Megaman set coming soon though, maybe we'll get Castlevania?
I think you are getting confused hate with freedom. Elon stopped the cia from influencing on X. That man is like trump. Has his own money and cant be bought. Trump was in the spotlight for 20 years and never was called racist until he challenged their power. Democrats have held office 12 out of the last 16 years. They are responsible for 40 year high inflation while they give 100 billion to ukraine and Israel but only offered $750 per family for hurricane victims. Wake up bud.
@@TradingCardArchivist typical uninformed response. Why even bring political stuff up in your videos if you actually have nothing to say besides a regurgitated statement from CNN
You asked if "Nova" has some meaning in the OP verse, and to some extent it does. The main character and several other younger pirates are called "supernovas," because they're all so strong and cause so much chaos!
hahaha, omg I knew I had her wrong 😭 I still remember basically falling in love with her character when I first discovered how to emulate arcade games like KoF and Fatal Fury.
omg I was like "happy tree friends"... where do I remember that from - then I watched some youtube clips and was like "Oh yeah" that was a truly amazing show the way it disguised itself so well as a children's animation.
Hey Archivist. I just bought this box and am really excited to recieve it. I was looking at the other boxes they sell but I have no clue which one to buy. Do you perhaps have any recomendations? Also do you know when the next set will come out or where we can see news about the new sets. Thanks :D!
Oh nice! We wrote up a guide to this set here that goes through all the boxes: tradingcardarchives.com/2024/02/06/cardmon-camons-answer-to-pokemon/ I don't know where to find news, but I assume Camon's wechat would have it but I can never figure out how to use that. The box I really want is the green one that includes the trainer cards, that's box "10-3" Otherwise the 10-yuan "Universe 2" box is probably the top as far as hits go, that's the red/white square shaped box with 20 packs.
That mgr card reminds me of the comic cut cards from Marvel. They cut a piece of older comic frame out and insert it into the card. So maybe they cut out a piece of the manga and put it in the card.
oh woah, thank you! i didn't understand that distinction at all - that's why the 3ds used a front camera for face tracking, to expand the parallax barrier's "sweet spot" - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallax_barrier. What a cool thing to learn.
@@TradingCardArchivist I recently just purchased the independence day VHS for its lenticular cover since it's a nostalgic memory for me :) absolutely love 3D, i make custom 3D video displays and it's a bit of an obsession
oh that would be even cooler! I have to doubt it though, only because if they were donating like that you'd think it would be all over the advertising and flyer.
I do understand the cats and dogs sets, where you have many breeds and different colors, but seeing the same black and white panda on each card gets boring for me. If you're a panda lover, I can totally understand.
Hi. This is not the first time that a manga by Tsukasa Hojo has been adapted into live action in France. City Hunter had already been treated to a French production (Nicky Larson and the Perfume of Cupidon) a few years ago. The two animated mangas were very successful when they were broadcast in France in the 80s. For information, the theme of the gentleman burglar was still very anchored in the French cultural unconscious at the time, this due to the fictional character Arsene Lupin created by Maurice Leblanc at the beginning of the last century, who remains one of the great last popular heroes of French literature.
