About Dominate Fishing. Dominate Fishing was founded by expert fishermen Dan Meyer. Dan Meyer teaches fishermen to catch more and bigger fish. With thousands of fish caught including many trophy sized fish Dan is quickly becoming a go-to authority for learning to catch big fish. Dan routinely catches trophy caliber fish: Bass, Musky, Walleye, and Panfish (crappie, Perch and Bluegill) are his specialties. Dan has also guided many anglers to the biggest fish of their lives, and through Dominate Fishing teaches others how to catch their personal best fish as well. How Dominate Fishing Helps You Catch More & Bigger Fish Most “so-called” fishing experts will tell you to catch fish all you have to do is have your line in the water. If it were only that easy… Dan learned the hard way that catching fish, especially big fish, takes more than having your line in the water. And that’s where dominate Fishing Comes in. This medium is where He shows you the exact tips, strategies and techniq
Try attaching your mini tube jig to a beetle spin. Just cast it out and reel back slow just above the weeds. Red with white tail is my hot button. I have been very successful all open water season in Northern Wisconsin.
That’s great info. Makes me want to go fishing and that’s a good thing. I’m off to get that bait today. Thanks. Do you try to put a drop of thick cycoacrylic glue to keep it on?
Good morning Dan! You make Monday mornings easier with these videos! Thanks a bunch nice work out there again👍🏼 I got to start targeting those lily pads out here more often.
hey Dave! thanks! yea, can be a lot of fish in them... I was getting big crappie and bluegill in them again last night. seem like fishing is really picking up with this nice weather!
If you're going to fish with bobbers, slip bobbers are the only way to go. You can set them (how deep) and size them (how much weight of lure, bait, line, etc,) will they support for any depth of water and any reasonable amount of weight hanging from them. I'm in the process of training a couple rookie fishermen and bobber fishing is the method they're most comfortable with so far. I just sent them this video to watch before the next time we go out.
Hey Dan! Nice work on the water!! I love slip bobbers for deeper brush piles, but 4 feet and less I prefer a spring bobber less messing around. I am curious how deep was the water you were fishing?
right on! I was fishing about 2-7 feet. the gills were up shallow in the 2 feet and also scattered down the drop. I have a friend down river from you who is doing good on walleye in the evening... have you been out?
Awesome video, Dan! You’ve rekindled my desire to go after bluegill. It’s a little tougher for me. I am over on the Wisconsin River flowage Lake, Dubay. Gills are kind of hard to find. But plenty of back bays with wood.
thanks Dave! yea I remember you were from over there. I have not fished Dubay but I have fished south of there and thee gills and crappie can be big when you find them! but all that wood makes it tricky...
