She has a flat shot with a twist of the wrist . Shoot from above head and keep that left hand parallel with the right . She is also forcing the 3 ball . This might sound crazy but I think therapy would help with her shot . It would help her see why she is nervous shooting or teach her to think she's at the free throw line . Because she is very good a free throws .

She shoots the ball at her ear. She needs to put the ball above her head with the web part(between her thumb and index finger)of her shooting hand shaped like a U and aim the U at the basket and at the release rotate her fingers at the basket. Primarily the index, middle and thumb, with the index and middle finger tips almost touching (or even touching) the thumb tip. The index and middle should be the last two fingers to touch the ball upon flexing the wrist. Some use the index, middle(at the vertical center line of the ball) and ring (as well as the thumb(almost touching the finger tips together) and aiming them into the hoop of the basket. Swish!!!
