I met him in person at Gothoom festival (Slovakia) a year ago where they were the main headliner. He kindly took photos with everyone and he was also kind enough to chat with others, a really nice guy
For a usually funny guy, that was quite awkward. Looked like an amateur's first interview but I think he was just stoned off his box. Poor girl really had her work cut out, she handled it well.
He was in Therion for guite a while, and I think he fits their style very well He is so theatrical, dynamic, diverced and an awsome singer. He´s done so much, and been playing and singing with so many different bands.
I know him as a musician (drummer) as he played in such cult bands as King Diamond and Memento Mori (both are better than Therion imho), also he run his solo project - Notre Dame. I know Therion too, and I know they have sopranos (classical style) female singers, so I meant he is not of the classic type of singer, he is more power metal singer as a contrast to sopranos.
i love steve.. but he talks about how he is offended by hip hop video clips ."dancing with bling and hoes, moving like this" but i guarantee that those clips are from top 40 charts bullshit songs, which are shit.. rather then actual hip hop.... so he is being really hypocritical...
No, he's not. See, he's saying that those are not artists, just morons, to which I completely agree - mild pornography and celebration of consumism and materialism. He's not generalising as he is specifically referring to those kind of videos. Peace
