@@michaelannen4168 I really needed to expand my available resources. It was a really tight schedule to get footage 8-10am Saturday and 7-9 Sunday. I got monetized back in April. I pretty much get footage every day after work now. I miss editing and filming to car shows!
Hey, wasn't there a controversy some years back when someone bought that property and wanted to move that monument? IDK, maybe it was another marker. But it probably happens often.
You're gonna have to absolutely wax that bumper to death to keep it from pitting when it gets moist from dew. That's the problem with using steel wool or any abrasive on metal. But it does look good.
Gosh I'd love to see more of this thing! I have two 1973 Titans, which are sisters to this, built by Champion. They share the exact same cabinet doors and light fixtures and things like that! One of mine also has the same 318 that yours does. Great engines!
I had a tonneau cover on my 64' TR4. I was in HS at summer school in '74. I parked with my zipper split tonneau cover on snd it rained out. Apparently, the tonneau cover was so loose , that there was a lake on the tonneau cover when i came out of school. If i opened it to drive, it would have soaked the interior. So, I resorted to finding a large burger king discarded cup which i used as a water bailing bucket. It took me 15 minutes to bail it out. Well, there went my impression as a cool guy to all the chicks. LOL. Love your videos, keep em coming.
This is a small assisted living facility with a living room atmosphere. If our fiddle player, Janey, can get them to sing, or even dance, we all go home happy with warm hearts.
you made it there so soon! Very cool. Wish you all were down at Fissel Hope’s flea market. They are stopping their yearly markets used to have classic car show with it.
@@TheAcceber1 it runs but I'm going to pull the head and oil pan off then pull the pistons to look for broken rings etc. I bought a fuel pump rebuild kit and a few emblems and lens. Mostly bodywork to make it look like a car again. Thanks.
I seen just a couple of those cars in the early 70s and the original paint jobs were nothing to write home about. I think your new paint is fine. Good job.
My best friend from high school days has an Alpine that he bought in his early 20s. He still has it! We are in our mid-50s. I remember when I drove it you had to hold the shifter in fourth or it would slip out and run the RMPS crazy.
First car memories as a five year old was my dad's BR green Alpine sitting on the side of our house. I loved that car @ five and didn't even know why until later in life. Good luck with yours!
Odd question...did you have to fill that carb with 3 in one oil? I know that my triumph side draft zenith strombergs had an oil pot built in and you added oil to it and it allowed the mechanism to move up and down smoothly. Could be worth looking into. I think it had a small hand screw top on it and you could take the top off and I remember an oiled piston in there. Just a thought. Anyway, nice going. Looking Good!
Wow. We should let Robert Brown know about this, I don’t know if he would travel, but he does wonderful photography of the cars. I have a print of a red 57 Chevy.
