I drove a ‘25 Rebel SST as a rental for 2 weeks while having hail damage repaired. Ram trucks still just feel unrefined. The door handles are trash, the operating system for the big screen is sloooww, knob style trans is dumb, just feels rickety and duct tapey compared to my ‘21 Denali
Comparing a rental-spec Rebel to a Denali would be like comparing an AT4 to a RAM 1500 Limited, you need to compare apples to apples. We also find that rental companies rarely hook their vehicles up to Wi-Fi for the latest software updates that would've already corrected that lag. You're also comparing RAM's standard output 3.0L to a 6.2L truck. Try that again with the 540 hp RAM 1500 Limited or Longhorn and we promise it's a much more fair fight. You'll find the quality you were looking for.

Unfortunately a byproduct of increased labour costs, emissions standards, safety requirements and demand in the market! We can confidently say that diesel trucks are great at fighting depreciation long term! With a new powertrain on the way for 2025, we'd recommend making a move sooner than later to get into a cost-effective diesel.

I’m a Chevy man and I’m a really big Toyota fan because of there reliability now that Toyota has let the quality drop and GM refuses to fix the transmissions and the lifter fails on there trucks im looking very hard at this Ram it’s super powerful butter smooth and the interior is 2nd to any brand there is high end luxury cars with less detailed interior than this truck awesome job Ram
Legitimately started and turned off this truck three times before we realized it was running. Couldn't agree with you more, this new Hurricane is buttery smooth, and with 420 hp and 469 lb ft of torque in the Standard Ouput and 540 hp and 521 lb ft of torque in the premium fueled High Output, there's something for everyone. The interior is to die for.
I have this exact truck, I've had it almost 2 years. Here's my pros and cons. Pros: really smooth suspension, good on fuel with the eco system, great speakers. Cons: no arm rests, tires are very slick during the winter, hard to turn with 4wd.
They're a great truck! If you opt for a RAM 1500 Classic with the bucket seating arrangement you can get a permenant armrest. Tires are definitely something you can change at any time if you're after more grip! A true four wheel drive system will always fight the truck going any direction other than straight, but with the new "Auto" systems they can be significantly more forgiving than the old 2HI 4LOCK 4LO setups.
I like your truck and I'm not trying to be argumentative but I think you should check that payload number that you referenced: 4,000 pounds does not sound right to me. I have a 2015 RAM 2500 Mega Cab and mine has the 6.4 liter HEMI and the payload is 2,900 pounds. In the 2015 model year my truck, if it had the Cummins has a payload of 1,950 pounds.
Wait a second, as if all the Jeep Wrangler trim lines and packages weren't confusing enough, .... a Wrangler sport unlimited with willy's package? Is that just an appearance add on package to the limited to make it LOOK like the Willy's and not the 1st entry true standard Willy's Trim, not the Wheeler. For instance, the factory specs for the Willy's trim I'm interested in ( and no it's not the Willy's Wheeler) states it has the performance suspension (same as the Rubicon set up) as well as a Dana 44 rear axle and trac loc. It also has a better Brake over clearance and approach/exit angle than the Big Bear. Does the sport S unlimited with Willy's package have all that? The way it sounds is that you have a sport unlimited (with all the leather and fancy stuff) and then added the willy's appearance package only. Please Clarify and include trim line numbers if you can please.
