Hi, I have a new version of Krita. I suspect you have tabs turned on. You need to go to Settings/configure krita/general and in the windows tab change Multiple Document Mode to subwindows. Then you need to make sure to pull the windows out of full screen (so that all the windows float) and it should work.
Thank you! I'm now focusing more on traditional painting, which is probably why I stopped doing the live streams of my digital art. I might do more videos focused on realism in the future but we'll see :)
This has to be like the best stream I've ever watched, thx, listening to your voice while sketching on krita is so soothing. Also, do you still stream??
Hi, For the first option, what kind of brush did you use? When I paint, the color is over lap on each other and created black shadows when I brush the second layer on it. It's not smooth as your painting. For the second options, when I select the area to fill in the color, it block all my drawing lines. Please help. Thanks.
Hi, I know this is an older video but I noticed your file extension in the header was .psd. Can you explain the reasoning for saving your working file as a psd instead of the regular Krita file extension as you work on the file?
12:47 The brush name is called a **'Shapes Fill Brush'**, the image is a green, cone shaped, skinny neck flask. You can search for the brush name as 't)_Shapes_Fill'. If you type in the word shape , it will also come up.
These methods are good to go through, but later in Krita 4 they brought the new colorize mask tool which is pretty awesome, and would probably replace the G'Mic method. Still worthwhile for some tips like that brush in method 3 that is a kind of live fill tool that I did not know about. Thanks.
Thank you for your video. It could be help though if you were actually showing which brushes/ tools you are actually using by zooming in on them prior to using them. Otherwise, we see the end result if your work, without knowing how you got there, and won’t be able to do it independently
Did not work.I followed instructions to the 't'. However, I have a Chromebook, so I dont know if its because I am working on chrome OS. So many things dont work right, especially when it comes to painting/drawing apps on Chrome OS. I didnt have such problems when I had a MS system. Does anyone else have this problem?
