Customer has a used key from an exactly same car, 2012 Genesis, can we simply add this used key to his car. Not sure we have to unlock it first. It seems he will need to get a pin code from a deal. I have Autel 508 and it said it will pull pin but I have not tried it. What do you think? I think it is safe to get a pin code from a dealer.
If you own a d9pro the vci is lock to the tool. Verry odd because autel VCI can be use with laptop as Jtool. This is a verry bad situation that I hope Xtool will resolve soon. Do not by Xtool scantool with vci if you want to use it as stand alone programming VCI.
@@beegbie1 xtool said there is 2 versions. So I asked if it isn't a j2534 then what exactly is it? No response at all so the vci that comes with the d9pro for example is basically fake. It does noting it has canfd that's it.
@boydlittou9446 naw they fuc*ed us they got 2 vci that look exactly alike only one is fake it doesn't have j2534 it just connects to scanner wireless and that's not a new trick. It has canfd built in that's it. D9pro came with it and that's a joke. It took support all day to even realize the one I had didn't have j2534
Since the d9 pro and the d9s pro have different vci , d9 is BT and d9s is wifi I'm wondering if the d9s is a j2534 but knowhere in their advertising have I found them claiming either was a j2534 , just vci and a vci isn't necessarily a j2535 devise.
So what if this isn’t working. The red light is coming on on fob but it won’t program. Works like the video all the way up to turning the key to exit programming then it doesn’t work
making a key copy is the simplest thing you can do without the need for expensive or sophisticated tools because they do not give a demonstration how to make or cut a key without a pattern or not copy it to copy whatever tool does
There are multiple ways to cut a key with the key machine. You can use the machine to decode a already existing key, Get the biting from the door lock using pick/decoding tools, or you can get the key code from a code broking service or dealer.
