Hello hope all is well, I'm looking to network outside of my area. I work with many cash buyers and fix & flippers & we are always looking for properties throughout the united states. So was wondering & was just curious to know if you work with or willing to work with any yourself?
Planning to move to Raleigh from Chicago. Do you think I can buy a single family new construction home (3 beds, 2 bath) around Raleigh area within 300 K? Or is it not feasible with that budget?
It’s not a good place if you are a thug and wear your pants low, you will be profiled and dealt with. This is a no nonsense family place so be a good person and act like a man or you won’t fair well here.
I'm in IT and im really debating moving from NYC to Raleigh NC. Is there a list of bad parts of Raleigh NC I should avoid moving to ?? Thanks in Advance.
Thx for the vid. Loved the part where you said "7:45 - Speed is everything. In this business, if you are not picking up the phone or slow to return messages, you lose out on deals". I'll keep that in mind once I get my license!
I have traveled all over the USA. I believe Raleigh to be the most welcoming to new comers. When I’m ready to move back to the east coast Raleigh is where I’ll go!!!
Why Raleigh Durham - because you have no brains in your head - it is the hardest place I have ever lived. You will not make friends here, the majority of people move away in about 3 years and then you start all over again. Cultural - it is a hinterland - unless you like sports and drinking, otherwise nothing at all. Back when the town was about 30k it was a small back water, now it is part of a metro area of about 3-4,000,000 and it is still a back water. Do not judge it on other metro areas about the same size - the roads do not accommodate, the supply lines do not accommodate, the infrastructure simply is not there. Yes we were asked 60 years ago about making things match future growth - the populace said no and the necessary steps were not taken then and are not really being so done now. The biggest mistake of my life was returning to Raleigh-Durham. Good luck finding a job unless you are in real-estate or medicine - remember NC is a low wage state. When I moved back to NC I was very luck to make 6.00 per hour with a PHd. There is a very high wall and moat between us locals and all the implants placed by the implants who do not want to acknowledge that there was anything or anyone here before RTP. Good Luck with the area, I hate Raleigh I hate Durham!
My wife and I moved to Raleigh and lived there for 4 years. (2013-2017) We absolutely LOVED IT! ( lived in an awesome neighborhood called Hedingham ) Worked at NC State and Shaw University. it was great! Eventually, I got a job opportunity up North in Boston, MA and we decided to moved there for 2 years. We quickly realized that was a huge mistake! Boston was an AWFUL place to experience and live in. Just trash. We missed Raleigh DEAAARRLY. So much so, that we tried to move back, but I ended up getting a job here in Charlotte. Moved to Charlotte in January and actually LOVE it here too. But Raleigh is our NC "first love."
@@coreyj.7776 Visit both cities to get the frequency and vibe of each. Visit/walk around the downtown areas on the weekends. Vies some neighborhoods. Raleigh is a nice vibrant, progressive, diverse, growing town vibe, yet growing very quickly. It's definitely smaller than Charlotte. Charlotte gives you more of a metropolitan/cosmopolitan vibe...with surburban energy as well.
I’m glad I found this.. it’s just that I’ve been looking for a job (admin role) for 2 months in Raleigh and I’ve found nothing. Im coming from New York.
I'm a Chicagoan. I am contemplating to move to Durham NC for change and possibly for retirement in a couple of years. Also, I am looking for career opportunities in insurance brokerage firms before I retire.

Are you still in real estate? I need help. Stuck btwn Raleigh or Charlotte or being on the outskirts. I'm looking to move to the area in the next 8-12 months. I know where ever my job will be located will be a determining factor for where I'll live. However, I want to get a geographical idea of safe, nice, affordable ($900-$1200) complexes/townhomes. These are some cities that I've been told to consider: Apex, Gastonia, Concord, Cary (I dont think it would be a good fit), Chapel Hill, Gardner, and Winston-Salem. I want easy accessibility to shopping malls and restaurants. A dwntwn area with these things would be nice too. I dont want to drive outside the area for these amenities. Also, a strong black history presence as well as AA population (more than 15%) is important too. I want to be close to beauty supply stores and blacked owned businesses/restaurants. Basically, a urban city feel but not in the city? I guess? If this even exists. 🤦🏽♀️
Steve- Thank you so much for the great video. My family and I are leaning strongly to the Raleigh area. My wife would love you to be scouting out our new home. Be well and stay blessed. Ken&Nita&Jaylen Niang-Baumbach
I wish black Americans had my mentality. I for one am not looking for "diversity". I'm looking for affluent or middle class BLACK NEIGHBORHOODS. Is Raleigh like this? DC and Atlanta can't be the only places in the country that has what I'm looking for.
Nice spot man, I’m going for my license soon. I’m ordering the course this week. Been studying vocabulary and how this industry works. Still have lots to learn, However, I’m confident that I can crush it. New sub too. 🔥🔥💎💎
Hello, yes we do. We recommend it for 3 Main Reasons: First, the agent will understand the market conditions and pricing. Secondly, they're going to be able to negotiate for opportunities you may not have considered. Lastly, when problems arise during the course of the transaction (which happens more often than one might think) they're going to be able to navigate those challenges and present you with concrete solutions. Hope that helps!
My job is opening a new building in Durham. Thinking about transferring to the area to closer to my south Virginia family. Is it better to commute from Raleigh to Durham or just live in Durham?
