I’m just now playing Witcher 3 for the first time ever so yeah it’s been so frustrating that these RU-vidrs make these videos assuming their audience have all played the game already.
I know it's a late reply but any new players, I played since day 1 and still have my version 1.0 , my advice is after white orchid every quest/contract is over leveled but people tend to forget the witcher isn't fully about levels, you can fight monsters above your level a few even if properly prepared skulls oppenents , yet skull is very diffcult but my point is for beginners run the story some and level up as its easyiest way for xp to lvl up to qear good gear & that'd where your stats really come into as leveling is just hp and skill point, also don't be afraid to experiment, if your playing this thinking you can button mash slashes you will get wrecked, also important note skills don't work unless equipped, so take note, lastly upgrade "quen" it's really a life saver and if your playing regular difficulty you can meditate your health back for 1 hr One more tip is if enemies feel to agressive or to many get delusion as it stops them even if dosent work it staggers, plus i forget the name but theres a skill that allows adrenaline to allow more sign cast if your a spell caster, finally frenzy is a must for combat players as it helps parrys by slowing time at critical moments. Witcher 3 is a master piece after so many yrs, i recently made a full restart and went in as a caster and poison skill trees only and still having fun, hope i helped anyone
I tried playing gwent once, but I didn't understand the mechanics of it and lost. I just started another gameplay, and I handed my switch to my younger son. He beat Geert for me. Of course a 13 year old would understand gwent.
Everyone tries this game at first and can't play Gwent or understand it. I didn't. I'm 43 and can't even play poker. 😂 Seriously! I am the worst poker player ever. But when you figure out Gwent it's so fun. When you read what each card does and you eventually keep figuring out what you need to do little by little... you'll be able to beat everyone in the game. My first playthrough just finished last week and I got the Gwent trophy 🏆 in Toussaint and the achievement for beating everyone. So if I can do that I'm telling you, if you actually try to learn it you can too. Spend an hour just watching and learning.
you should be able to get to muscle 5 if you sink all your 5 skill points from levels and from shrines into muscle memory. if not you might need the blood and wine expansion but im not totally sure
I just bought this game because I see so many people saying it's a great game. I'm very disappointed. I had to stop playing. The graphics are horrible, the detail is very lacking and the movement is sluggish. Horrible graphics not sure what people think saying greatest game ever. Try playing ghost of Tsushima, those graphics million times better and gameplay way better
Mad Panda, this is a really slow method of leveling before leaving Helgen. The best way is push Ralof into a wall and sneak attack him over and over. Not only can you train Sneak this way, but also One-Handed, and Two Handed. Just make sure to set the difficulty to Legendary, use only a dagger, and take the first perk in the Sneak tree to make it easier. No power attacks, dual weilding, or any damage related perks needed, as they actually make the process slower. Using this method, its easy to go from 15-100 Sneak in just a few minutes. If you want to be even more overpowered, just make it Legendary and repeat the process again for as many character levels as you want.
i think that they might of changed the odds because i got both the owl statue and the strange capsule in the same year and both of those are meant to be extremely low odds with 0.5% chance
@@madpanda7862 nah your good man I love the video! Very helpful as I picked the game up 2 days ago for my birthday and don't know much on what to do this helped understand stuff a bit more.
@@madpanda7862 Wouldn't be surprised if it's mobile only, cause I just tried on PC and it didn't work. Probably should note it's on tmodloader. That'd also help explain how it wouldn't have been discovered before.
Question? I'm on my first playthrough. I did every possible thing in white orchard which I just left the palace. I've seen a few beginner guide videos and most players have three skill spots available at level 5 on the right side of their character screen next to the mutagen placement spot. I currently only have two. How do I Open that third spot? Is it supposed to happen automatically or do I have to activate it somehow? Thanks for the video.
I don't know if they updated it with the Witcher 3 next gen I think but I use heavy artillery and trying to do like a bomb setup and some of my bombs clock in at 1700 plus damage
Is there a mod for The Witcher 3 letting the player know when a time sensitive quest is active because I failed some already because I didn't know they had time limits
I tried it a few times before but felt overwhelmed for the state of mind I was in back then and quickly lost interest. Tried it again this week with a different mindset, playing more relaxed and not wanting to rush through and I’m enjoying it a lot now. Thanks for the tips!
I never understood rushing through games like this. The more you take your time, the more value you get from the game. I played Skyrim more than a year before I took the Dragonstone to Whiterun. I knew if I gave it to that shady wizard that shit would go bad. And sure enough...dragons.
Why/how does everyone seem to have the Blood and Wine DLC? I bought the GOTY edition of the game for 6 euros in the PS store, the DLC costs 20 euros. What the hell?
