Your journals are beautiful Asia! I love them all ❤ i especially love your ribbons and your mark making on certain pages. I feel perfection is overrated tbh and I do my upmost to avoid it lol 😄🤭 I can see from watching your post you poured a lot of work and creativity into making your beautiful journals ❤ each one very different! So much variety and yet quite similar if that makes sense? I pray you are making time for yourself. Creating for yourself. TYSMFS 😁
Thank you so much Asia I really really enjoyed watching you create these beautiful and stunningly gorgeous pages. Everything about them is so perfect too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤
Asia I love all your creations, especially your stencils and Stamps. I have been making journals for two years just for myself and I wanted to tell you these are fantastic. I would certainly buy more of your products if the shipping was not so horrendous. I am in Canada and sometimes the shipping is more than the actual cost of the product. I don't believe you will have any problems selling these journals. Thanks for sharing your talent and creativity with us. Hugs and Smiles
Hi Lori :) Thank you so very much for your kind words! I need them :) I knwo the shipping is awfully costly and unreliable on top of that. It is one of the main reasons why I want regularly to give up my business althogether :) Once again big thanks and bog hugs! xx
Well done. I can see how much work went into putting these together. They look fantastic and seem to have a lot of different pieces within each bundle and book. Hope they sell well for you.
They are all beautiful! I completely understand how hard it is to sell the things we make. It’s a very vulnerable place. I know I always get nervous and start asking myself those terrible questions, “will anyone even buy them, should I have done this or that instead, and on and on?” Just wanted to tell you, “you are a beautiful artist!”
Dear Alyson, you are so sweet and I thank you so much for your kind words; Which I need a lot right now :) Yes, it's an awful place to be :) I will see soon enough if it was a good choice to make them or not ;) Big hugs and have a great week! xx
Thank you for this wonderful idea. Using an old book like this has many uses - either a look book or using as ephemera in journals. I’ve used little price stickers to draw patterns on whilst in the doctor’s waiting room and I find your idea to be so useful and your art work is so imaginative - a wow moment for me!🌷
Thank you so much Asia I really really enjoyed watching create this beautiful and amazing art journal, plus the three ATC’s, absolutely amazing artwork as always. I absolutely love ❤❤❤❤ all this work. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
The clear with the black butterfly images how do you stick them down? Because I have a roll idk if you peel it off somehow. I want to use it I just don’t know how lol! ❤
Hi Lisa :) I am not sure if I understood correctly as I don't really know what idk roll is, lol! But the butterfly was glued in the middle with few drops of tacky glue and just now when you ask me i realise that it is actually a sticker! lol again! It is hard to use PET washi as you can so easily see what is underneath and the effect is not always great; That's why often I stick them with drops of glue, the way I do with tracing paper. Is that answer at all your question? Sorry, I tried ;) xx
I love this, Asia! ❤ These aren’t colors I would pick as first choice, but they look amazing! Can’t wait to see your other projects with these markers. 🫶🏽
Thank you so much Laury! Me neither and yet, fascinated by this green marker, I went for the colors I wouldn't normally choose :) Have a great Sunday! xx
Ah là là, You made me so laugh with this video! lol At the end you made a beautiful creation I think, I also like gray. I would see this as a cover of an art book. Bravo j'aime beaucoup. 🤍🖤🤍 Good weekend Asia.
Hi Asia, i love this and the colours are so beautiful. It is very calming to look at, and the method seems quite meditating to do. I shall have to try this out. I also like the chalky finish; i love using Paperartsy Fresco finish paints because of their chalkiness. I think these markers will work nicely with those, what do you think? 🤔 Thank you for sharing this, I'm glad it didnt end up in the bin! 🤭 i wish you and everyone a lovely weekend, best wishes, Jane 🥰 xx
Dear Jane, thank you so much for your kind words! It seems we are both loving the chalkiness :) I love PaperArtsy as well, for the same reasons:) I have to try this combo out, but why not? Actually, lol, on my swatch card the black lines in the middle are done with Little Black Dress chalk acrylic 😁 I forgot about it, lol! So they do match very well ! Have an amazing weekend! xx
Your project turned out very well. I purchased some acrylic markers for basically painting rocks but I haven't used them yet. I need to go find some good rocks. 😊☕
Hi Asia Again, such amaaaaaaaazing and beautiful creations! 😍😍😍 I saw you using double-sided sticky tape. (I think I saw it for the first time in your video's) What is your experience on that? I stopped using it because it doesn't last long. The stickyness disappeares, and everything falls apart after a while. Also, the tape leaves a nasty stain/residu all through the paper. So all the beautiful things you've made are left ruined and to be thrown away. I know and understand it is an easier and more quick method to mass produce, but if someone wants to treasure the things we've made, he or she will be sad if it ends up in the bin. It would make me sad also if that's what would happen whith one of my creations. P.S. I used to use several types/brands of the double-sided tapes, expensive and cheaper ones, my cards all ended up the same. They all fell apart and had stains all over.
Thank you dear Hilde! I can't say for sure, but for now I do not have any major issues with my double-sided tape; Sometimes, just to be sure, I add a dot of glue on top of it just to be sure, but other than that I never noticed the stains. I will make sure to pay attention to that though :) Have a great Sunday! xx
Hi Asia, dip your wonky brush bristle in a cup of boiling hot water and the reshape with fingers. This tip will work on animal and synthetic brushes. Dip and a gentle swirl for about 5 seconds and repeat until the brush is back to its shape. After every project i do this cleaning and reshaping metod and then dip my brushes into a brush conditioner liquid to keep them conditioned and they're ready for use on my next project.I love your creations and thank u for sharing x love Alli XXX
Dear Alli, thank you so much for this tip!!! I will try that! I keep my brushes on my des, they accumulate dust (I have no idea how else can I keep them safemy) and after some time I see that they are some bristles which are lossing shape; I will try your method, I am so grateful for this idea! Big hugs! xx
@@LemonCreationART very welcome Asia. i promise u it works but sont forget to dip them in the brush conditioner afterwards, it will help the hairs to last longer. Love Alli XXX
