Hi thanks for watching! The plastic cover build up the moisture inside and help to keep the scion fresh keeping it from drying out until graft heals. But thats just for 7-10 days if you keep it longer it may develop fungus and rot.
I don't understand how people get there plants to actually grow and there some people saying " put you seed in a moist tissue with cinnamon and watch your seedling sprout in a few days" even when I do these methods and I do it for months they Don work and this guy just straight up put the avocado pit in to sprout respect to him
@@julie1393 thank you. yes i will be posting more videos in next week or two how to do grafting. Best time of the year for cherry plum jujubi peach grafting is early spring. Other fruits year around depending on location
Hey Patel thank you so much for you response my friend I am in south Florida the land of mangoes away from India lol I am a new grower maybe about two years now after failing at maintaining my seedlings from last year because someone told me I needed to wait a year before grafting them you have given me new hope in my endeavors man do you have a Facebook group or & instagram where I can follow you? Also where do you get your scions from? I live near several mango farms here in Florida so if you need anything that I can access let me know. Again thank you Patel sincerely your new friend Shaka! Lol
@@Mount_Shaka thank you. Hey thanks for the video how old do you recommend the seedling to be I have ones that are a few months old can I use em or should I wait a year & do it next spring?
@@ParthPatel-xq9nt Hahaha. See that’s where you and I are different. There are no “harmless” snakes, as far as I am concerned. I’d kill myself trying to get away from the garden snake. 🤣
Thank you for Viewing! Compare to other grafts jujibi are pretty fast, i started seeing growth just in little as 10 days. But it depends on what season you graft early spring is best
You can but If you live in colder climate you will not see any growth until spring and if you get frost new grafts may not survive . I would recommend waiting until early spring unless you are using greenhouse.
First year production was less due to new grafting but 2nd year we had lots of fruit and all different kind it was great i will make video in few days!
What part of SC are you in? I just started to germinate a seed in Charleston. I bring a lot of my plants inside in winter anyway, so it will be ok in a large pot?
Yes you can do that if you are planning to keep the greenhouse at same spot in future! Remember you will need greenhouse whole winter mango tree may die without greenhouse and heater below 40F!
