Thanks for the Chroma digitizing video. There are not many out there. I too have chroma and I am trying to learn to digitize. More videos, please. Whenever possible of course.
Thank you! I definitely like to escape from everyday orders and try something outside the box 😅 it’s just a regular 6x5 hoop. I didn’t put the actual clamp on it, I used hand clamps to float it on the part of the clamp that connects to the machine. Stitching in the brim isn’t practical. But it does show the durability of your machine 😅
@@AWGCreationsLLC gotchu that makes sense, I knew what bobbins were for sewing my mom used to do, but when I saw those commercial grade ones they looked different and was confused. I mean, I’m happy RU-vid is highlighting up and coming creators at least! What up!
Definitely will do that when the time comes , do you have an email address , I have some detailed questions I want to ask . One are you still using the Viso band for hats , did you change your y axis parameters to go lower on the hat , and more questions ……
I do use the VisoBands still, still my favorite clamping arm so far. And yes I did change parameters to get more “wiggle room” Shoot me an email! We will get you right AWG.Creations@Gmail.Com
…..and the two bands on …..do you change the parameters on your cap driver x and y axis to all for lower stitches , I got a bumping noise and and out of bounds error after doing a trace for a design 3 x 4 inches ??
Your max range on height is about 2.5 inches. With this hoop arm swap, I’m able to squeeze 2.6-2.75” of heigh on a design out, depending on the design.
Thanks for this! I’ve been searching all over because it seems mine just won’t give any more tension. I have a used machine. I will try this hack. Also when I look at the tension test it seems like there is always more on one side , the line doesn’t run down the middle like I’m seeing in all these videos . Is this normal , or what should I do?
Glad to be helpful! And it’s not normal to have the offset bottom line like that. It can be that you have dust build up in your thread path. I would consider giving the machine a deep clean. If you follow your thread path, every point that the thread meets a tension rod or a point of contact where it changes direction, you should get any debris cleaned from those points
Yes this is actually most likely to happen. Even though they may be the same weight thread, they could be wound at different tensions or polyester vs. cotton. Always check your tension when changing bobbin thread brands for sure
Great video ! Thank you for the content. I just bought the Towa Digital gauge. Would you happen to know the numbers for flats and hats that I would need to stay within for both the bobbin and top thread ? (My bobbin right now is registering 28-30g) I believe the 2 different units use different tension numbers?
Thank you!! 🙏🏽 I am not sure on the numbers necessary for the digital gauge. They are different units though. I know it’s less tension for flats/thin material and more tension for structured hats/thick material
