Awesome review Levi! Sounds like Dark Tranquillity's Endtime Signal is a solid album. I definitely recommend checking out more of Dark Tranquillity's back catalog. Specifically, Skydancer up to Fiction.
I am only familiar with their earliest six albums (including Change Of Seasons). I would rank these like this: 1. Images and Words 2. Awake 3. Falling Into Infinity 4. Change Of Seasons 5. Scenes From A Memory 6. When Dream and Day Unite
Sorry Levi I actually like The Astonishing I do understand it's a lot longer than Judas priest's Nostradamus but I will have the Astonishing over Nostradamus any day at terms the production because I still say that judas priest album sucks and I will stand by that until the end of time in my opinion Yeah Fuck Nostradamus LOL how does that make you feel bud hun😂😂. Also when it was followed up their comeback album in 2005 seriously ugh. I'm getting off topic I do get sour sometimes about that album even though I'm a mid 2000s child so I even got into them in 2017 when I was like 13 years old.

I love dream theater so much haha. I was super hyped to watch this 😂 Octavarium is my number one 😂 to me it’s just the definition of Dream Theater. I did a video explaining how in-depth that album is and I had so much fun explaining it 😂😂 But yeah awesome video my man 🔥🤘🏻 Also I love the astonishing and had it at number 6 😂😂
Love the Octavarium love. It's only 4 for me because I have the classic 90s albums above it and I disagree with The Astonishing. I'm not a huge fan of it.

I love seeing the Octavarium love up there! Your top 4 is exactly the same as mine. The bottom 3 are also exactly the same as well. The S/T is horrible I agree with you.
My comment aged like milk. S/T is 12, Falling Into Infinity is 13. But our list is kind of of similar. and I do love Train of Thought, but Black Clouds and Silver Linings is better.
@@takodabostwick8507 I'd give Falling Into Infinity another shot. When I was a kid I HATED it, but now I'm old and I think it's fantastic. Trial of Tears one of their best songs IMO.

Great review! This is definitely one of their stronger albums, This is an album you need to give a few listens, It’s gets more catchy, But there is One thing HammerFall never fails and it’s being consistent
The only album I have never really been able to listen to all the way through is The Astonishing. Everything is else is good to great to legendary. My personal favorite is Six Degrees! Looking forward to the ranking 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Cool update Levi. I got a Marduk CD recently and it’s Opus Nocturne which is my favorite. Heaven Shall Burn… When We Are Gathered is another good Marduk album. I also own Led Zeppelin IV and RHCP’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik on CD. Also great choices with Dismember, Necrophobic, Mastodon, Living Colour, Borknagar, Power Trip, Paradise Lost, Municipal Waste, and Exodus.

I barely know any women who like this shit and im 29, cant afford to go to shows so havent been to almost any, but a coworker is 22 and she likes thrash, black metal and i use channels like yours and others to find music for people who like what i do but adjacent. I like blackened thrash normal thrash just doesnt do it for me, keep giving me stuff to suggest my good sir, i literally wanna do content like yours but i dont know which album i want to be my first, i listen to ALL kinds of music, blackened genres, Midwest emo, hyper pop, metalcore, deathcore, OSDM, not really a big fan of new shit unless its Technical death metal, pop punk, hardcore, trash metal or trap metal, blackened trap metal, etc. Its REALLY hard to pick where i want to start.
Infestor feels like black metal. I found out about then FROM a black metal channel ( Wyatt ) and personally, i dislike the growls because its just urg urg urg urrrrrrg urg urrrrrrrgh urgh urghhhh and it gets tiresome and samey. But the screams are absolutely haunted, im glad you reminded me. They feel not of this world in sound like Blut Aus Nord.
