Hi! With the expandable pouch it is a bit more of a challenge to take a photo, but still doable. You can easily unlatch your phone from the pouch easily. I don’t use the expandable pouch as much a I used to because I don’t have the need for it much. I have all my credit cards and key fob hooked onto my phone and that’s all I usually need. Good luck.
Thanks so much your review is excellent and so so helpful. You explain things so clearly. My concern is the sizing of the phone case, as phone sizes change with upgrades- I have a apple SE size, which is small, but if I were to upgrade to a larger size, I would need to buy a new case. Is it worth the investment? Wonder if they have a universal type case so a small phone would still look okay and stylish inside?
Thank you! I’m with you. I was concerned about that as well. I’ve had my phone for three years now so IMO I think it’s worth it. When I purchase a new phone, unfortunately I will have to buy another one but I definitely think it’s worth it. I literally have this phone strap on me all day long. 😝 Also, if you think you will only have your phone for just a year or so, maybe you’d want to consider buying a second hand on eBay.

Once you click on something you find on Amazon, look at the top left in blue and it should say “visit the Bandolier store.” I think those are the ones coming directly from their store. Great question! It is awkward if it’s not a quick phone call. I checked a few months back and they have a double strap that prevents the awkwardness of holding the phone and pouch. I’ve had the Bandolier for about two years now and although it’s a great addition and useful at times, I found that I do not use the pouch as often as I thought I would. Good luck!
This helped. The expandable pouch did not look like it held that much on the website image. Zipper should go all around. I don’t use EarPods but the little attachment is so cute. Any ideal what else you can put in ( I assume not much else). I didn’t see the patterned band online. And YES mix and match would be great!!!! Maybe the company will see your suggestions. Thanks
Hi, glad you enjoyed the review. The expandable pouch can hold more than what I have in the video. If you take the phone off the strap, the phone fits in there. You just won’t have as much space for everything else. The company changes their straps frequently, but I just checked and I see it on there. It’s called Skye.
First of all- this was an awesome review. You're so down to earth! Thank you! Maybe Im a little late to ask this questions, but do I need a screen glass protector for the screen as I wear it as a crossbody? For example, if I purchased the Hailey do I need that specific cover? Or will a zippered pouch protect it? Im a mama and I will be helping my little 3 year old and Im sure this phone will swing a bit. Any help would be great! Blessings!
Thank you! I have a screen protector on mine to help prevent scratches. To me it doesn’t hurt to put one on. I usually get mine from TJ Maxx. The good thing is ever since I’ve had this Bandolier I haven’t dropped it once. 😀. I hope you find this handy, especially being on the go with the little one. I remember those days. 🥰

Hello! The 1st one is probably more durable but sits lower to the ground. The 2nd one is still durable and has held up well, but in my opinion would go before the 1st one. Although if you like that it’s a chair that is not as close to the ground, I’d go with the 2nd one.
Which pouch do you have? Is it the medium leather or the vegan leather larger one? Also what size is your phone? I want to get the right pouch, not too big and yours goes perfect.

Hi there! I would say yes, it is a bit awkward to have the phone and pouch when you’re talking. So for quick, short conversations, it’s not a problem. This is why I do not use the pouch everyday. I only use it when I am going to be out all day and would need my chapstick, gum, lotion, antibacterial wipes, etc. It takes a couple of weeks to really get used to how to use the products that best suits your needs. A few flaws and inaccurate information in this review. For starters, the two cases reviewed are not the same. The side slot cases expand to allow more cards and/or cash. The regular case with the top opening, allows about 2- 3 cards max. and does not expand. Bandolier offers customization by allowing you to pick the metal hardware for your case and strap. They offer gold, silver and pewter metal hardware. The same goes for straps and pouches. You can also buy a case by itself without a strap. Straps are not required to use the case unless you want to wear it as a crossbody. They offer expanding pouches in medium and large sizes. As for the weight of the case on your body, it’s no heavier than if you had your phone, keys, etc in your purse. I find it to be much lighter than carrying a handbag or crossbody. I use the expanded pouch and fill it with my car keyfob, small wallet, lipstick and hand sanitizer. Bandolier is a great case and worth the investment. Only con is having to purchase a new case if you upgrade your phone to a new model.
@@kso9305 I don’t find it awkward when holding in my hand to use but if you have a lot of items in the pouch and/or its heavy, it will be awkward to hold up while talking on the phone. It’s quick and easy to unclip the phone though.

Received my iPhone pro 12 max and bandolier case today. Wow. Your review was on the money -- the Hailey case is worth it! The lighter case is great as the iPhone 12 max is a very heavy device. Also got the expanded pouch and the AirPods case. The hand sanitizer pouch may also be a good edition to this EDC crossbody. Thanks again for your review.

It’s also important to note that some straps are shorter than others. I really wish they would create extenders or offer tall and short options!!!
