You can’t put screws into the plank itself. That’s why there are clips so plank can move, even one screw anywhere in the plank will make it buckle. You should still put screw into the clip even at the joints! Rookies.
Where are you located? This looks nice. I am thinking of going with something like this on my manufactured home. It will with stand fire and insects and won't add a lot of extra weight to the walls.
